In my opinion people get too aggressive with overshield when they dont have to making it easier for the other team to melt them and burn it off. With camo too people want to fly in. Staying alive with camo is more important than getting one kill. Just the other team knowing you have camo makes them play slower alone.
I think some players who use powerups tend to wander around without encountering anyone else, which wastes it.

About the only time I bother with using them is in Turbo. That makes it fun being able to stack powerups.
Camo is the biggest one i see people mess up with. Your active Camo is only “100%” when you aren’t moving or crouching. When i see people sprint with Camo (or a prophet’s Bane) i Cringe and think, well that’s completely wasted
I’d go ahead and agree with people being over aggressive with them. Over shield strenghtens your shield but your not invincible lol. You can be semi aggressive with it without exposing yourself to so much fire, try to make it last.
invisible is still seeable if people play attention, and trying to 1v3 groups isn’t always the best idea cause you’re still outnumbered and when hit your shields expose you. There’s been plenty of times I’ve seen invise users go in but get near death, back out only to then get killed with the last shot cause they played to aggressively and exposed themselves.
speed boost makes you move faster but people can still hit you, especially if they can aim
I’d use it more for strafing purposes over trying to cross a map at record speed.
damage boost, oh wait, halo 5 doesn’t like to use it
Bear in mind in going over arena scenarios cause warzone doesn’t matter as much when people are stacked to the teeth with them (I’ve got like 200 of everything varying across all kinds of req levels).
ill also say sometimes it’s better to actually lay off the power ups off spawn cause an entire enemy team could be going straight for one, I think it’s better off just to pick them off as they try going for it even if they burn the power up. Gets you an easy 4-0 lead if properly done and you get a little time to pick up map weapons/position setup while they respawn.

Active Camo can lay waste to anyone that approaches your area (especially in combination with a potent weapon), and it’s a same that it gets wasted in both Arena and Warzone. Camo + Energy Bayonet / Scale of Soirapt / Blaze of Glory / The Answer / Jorge’s Chaingun or even a Prophets’ Bane can hold down and capture an enemy base like that.

The best way to wreak havoc on a base is grab a prophets bane. You can literally keep an entire base and multiple enemies occupied for a long time this way.(one of my favorite strategies)
i havent seen them a lot in WZ, but in FFWZ people takes out powerups, i think is a waste, i think there´s no need for powerups in warzone

My favorite is the WZFF camo user…it’s like, why?

I see people doing this in firefight too. And putting silencers on their weapons

The only practical silenced weapon would be the Tactical Magnum. But even then, you could whip out a Sentinel BR w/ Kinetic Bolts at that point and still do a lot of damage.
I’ve stopped using power ups myself mainly due to the fact that when i grab a camo i never find anyone or no one comes near to where i am until its almost gone making it useless. Or i played a bit too aggressive and lost it.
In arena its a good play but i hate when i go for the overshield and automatically i’m being shot at by someone who was camping the area waiting… annoys to me no end
I mainly dislike those who camp nearby waiting for camo to reappear so they can grab it, instead of contributing enemy kills.

Welcome to arena.
