whats the best way to prepare?

Im havent played alot of multiplayer in halo but for halo 4 ill be in slayer for awhile. Should i play halo 3 to practice with the battle rifle? Played slayer in reach with dmr quite a bit so i feel good with it but ive wondered if i should get use to the battle rifle as well before halo 4, mostly play slayer so any tips/advice anyone can share id appreciate it.

13 Weeks left!!! xD

I really don’t get why people have to practice for Halo 4.

I’m just going to play the game and enjoy it.

I mostly have practiced alittle cuz in slayer i suck pretty much and just want to improve so i can have more fun when i start playin halo 4 thats my only motive for practicing

I don’t practice, but I guess I consider the Campaign as practice, until I jump into mp. I learn weapons, vehicles, etc through Campaign like every game.

Sorry I came off as aggressive there.

Just the thought of practicing for a game is silly to me, but if it works for you, then have fun

Either this, or test them out in Custom Games and/or Forge.

To be honest there should be no practice its a new game so new learning curves just be sure to pick a button layout your comfortable with, for me it will be recon.

But if you really do want to practice it depends on gametype and the weapons yo’ll be using in H4. If you want practice with the BR go H3 if DMR go reach they’ll be differnt in H4 but it should still help. I’m not completly sure how H4’s grenades function all I know is that their blast radius has been reduced but to be on the safe side go into reach it takes a lot more skill to tactically use the grenades in there.

Really though it is going to boil down to wheather you’ll be playing classic or the new gametypes (infinity slayer) in H4. If classic go H3 since it has no AAs. If the latter go reach.

Hope that helps.

If you feel good on reach then definitely go to halo 3, just make sure you play halo reach every once in awhile, you dont want to loose your touch there, but if your asking what im going to do, i am going to continue playing reach because i am not planing on using the br right off the bat, then when halo 4 comes out i am only going to play campaign until i finish it, after that i will probably go into forge and get used to how all the maps feel and get some practice on the guns and armor abilities. after that maybe some custom games with friends, get some practice in with all the weapons on real people. then after that i will switch between spartan ops and multiplayer. and eventually get used to the br again.
That is what i am going to do because i actually like reach and i am going to enjoy it as much as i can until halo 4 comes out(i already spent a lot of time on halo 3 and i am not saying that halo reach is going to be dead to me, i am just saying that no one will be playing it as much so it will get boring.)
