What's the best specialization?

I know that this is an over-asked question, but because more people have reached that stage, I would like their input on specializations.

(In the poll above, please vote only if you have experienced.)

Very hard to say. For me it can be:

-Piooner due to the ammount of extra xp.
-Rogue: For making Br and DMR even more overpowered.
-Wetwork: For making you a shadow.

Depends what you play.

If you enjoy BTB, I recommend Wheelman, Operator.

You can drive a warthog into a group, novicely, and come out alive.

After reading, I go for Engineer.

But that might change after trying them all out… somewhere in the future.

For me its definitely Wetwork. I like to be a shadow on the battlefield. Eliminating vehicles as quickly as possible and then moving on to regular targets. Once I completed the Wetwork specialization I moved on to Pioneer, just for the sheer sake of being able to level up “quicker” once hitting the dreaded 70. My next choice will be Rogue because I really like the idea of not having my reticule jig every time I get hit and I’m focused dead on the enemies head.

This poll is really subjective, it depends on your play style and what you like to do. For example, Operator will be one of my last specializations, I’m not comfortable with making myself the biggest target on the map (since that’s how I see others using vehicles). I’ve taken down too many people who just got into a Mantis or a scorpion and think that the same would apply to me. The second I get in >BOOM<

Any opinions are pathfinder? I was planning to go for rogue and then for it after.

The highlighted part says it all.

I think the “best” is highly situational based on the gametype, what your oppoents are using for loadouts, and what role you’re playing for your team. I think it’s great that there isn’t one clear “best” one.

I’ve heard that the last Specialization one chooses is the one they are stuck with forever, beyond SR130. Apparently, you can’t go back and select a Specialization you’ve already completed. This would be devistating for those “saving the worst for last.” I only heard rumblings about this. Anyone know if it is true?

I think that Rogue has the most benefit…but that’s just my gamestyle.

I said best in general because I’m an al around kinda guy, sorry for not mentioning that, so basically it’s really your opinion on playlists with those specializations that I’m asking for.

None of them are better than each other- each of them are good in their own way.

To ask if one of them is the best is like asking which snake is the best. Even though they’re all snakes, they’re different because of the situations & environment each of them are in.

It’s true, I’m ok with any other name except for engineer and pioneer, just not cool names.

They have made that clear in the reviews and vids, but I want to hear your input, not lectures…

You’re just stuck with the name on your player card. So if you save stalker for last then you’ll always have “Stalker” on the bottom right corner of your player tag

Rogue easily

Tracker seems to be the way to go for ordnance playlists, being able to re-roll your ordnance is sure to give you some good weapons every now and then.

Question those this take a slot away from like Mobility or Dexterity? or is it an extra slot?

WetworkPioneerTrackerRogueEngineerStalkerOperatorPathfinder is clearly the best.

Personally I went with Operator first(I play a lot of BTB as a Warthog driver), then Wetwork for assassinations in regicide. Beyond that though I do not really have too much interest in any of them. Pathfinder will be fun with the turret I’m sure… Rogue will probably be last for me honestly.
