What's the best possible KD?

First of all, I know your KD doesn’t determine how good you are and some of you couldn’t care less about your KD, but what is the best KD you could have? When I say this I don’t mean you should have a 10 KD I mean the best KD without being to serious or campy. If you’ve got a 3 or more KD I’m probably guessing you just camp or sit at the back of the map using a DMR or Sniper, although there might be 0.5% who are actually just that good but hardly anybody.

My KD is 1.5, which isn’t super but I’m happy with it knowing I NEVER EVER EVER camp and after I finished the DMR commendation I haven’t touched it since.

So what do you think the sweet spot is for KD? Without being just a DMR or Sniping camper (especially if they use AC) and without being just plain bad e.g. probably under 0.5 KD

Please I don’t want anyone saying ‘Oh your stupid KD doesn’t matter at all’ I’m just asking what people think the best KD is to have.

I think a good test of skill would be if your K/D was earned only in objective game types, and you always put your team and the objective first. If you did that and still pulled a 2.0 K/D, I’d have to say you’re pretty dang good.

That’s a really good point.
If you focus more on teamwork than number one and still have a 1.5+ K/D then no worries.

In my humble opinion, the best K/D for one to have ratio is between a 0 or a 1.

While that isn’t a high ratio, it leaves you room to improve, it shows that you aren’t a DMR-camper, it shows that you enjoy the game, and that you’re not one of those “prideful” MLG kids (I have nothing against the MLG community).

For Slayer Gametypes, your K/D matters.

But for Objectives, the higher the ratio, the worse the player (in most cases).

My K/D is like 1.3 or something, and I get really frustrated with how often I die and how few triple kills, overkills, killing frenzies, etc. I get as it is. I can’t imagine going negative most of the time. I think I would lose it.

My KD is 00.95. I am gonna get it on 1 kd. My Slayer KD is 00.97

I quite like a KD around 1.5
Sure a 2.0 KD is good but that means chances are that you are playing people much worse. With a 1.5 KD chances are that you are playing with people of a similar skill level. Sure it doesn’t make you brilliant but its certainly something to go by.

A K/D that has a 100% win rate attached to it.

I think that’s a sweet spot for K/D.
