This thread says it all. IWHBYD quotes are seriously one of the best parts of Grunts.
For those who do not know, the IWHBYD skull stands for “I would have been your daddy, but a dog beat me over the fence!” This line was uttered by Sergeant Johnson and Sergeant Stacker in Halo Combat Evolved.
Back to the topic. I posted a thread on why I thought Halo 4’s Grunts were the best. Suffice to say, my inexperience with the original trilogy really shines through there. I hope to eventually play the original trilogy, but another day.
On a trip to Halo Nation, I came across this.
I haven’t laughed so hard at video game quotes in my life. “Please enjoy my bright blue balls!” or “Sorry, we don’t take American Express!” are among my favourites, but this is the best one IMO.
