I’m currently trying to level up on halo 5 and all of my friends have been struggling on leveling up. I’m just wondering which Gametype is the best for Xp? Thanks!
Depends on what you prefer, Arena or Warzone. Arena doesn’t really give you that much in general even with xp boosts. However, I found Infection to be the most generous in terms of payout. If you do well (top half of the field), you can expect to get around 5,000 xp each match. With boosts, that could get you as much as 10,000 xp each match. I don’t know how much you get if you finish in the bottom half (I hardly ever place outside of the top three), but I imagine the payout would still be better than almost anything else in Arena.
However, in my opinion, Warzone overall is the best way to get xp. Firefight will give you a good amount of xp (usually around 6,000 each match without boosts) and if you have a team that can finish Warzone Assault games quickly that is absolutely the best way to go. When I was playing with my team in Warzone Assault last night, I was getting about 50,000 xp an hour, but that’s because we always finished our games as quickly as possible.

Warzone Firefight, Infection, and Extermination are fantastic for earning lots of XP.

If you’re with a stacked team of 12 in Warzone you can usually end games between 5-10 minutes, sometimes less than 5. Look at my game history.

Yeah, but that requires getting a stacked team of 12 and finding a team that you can crush. Whereas all it takes to get the aproximate same amount of XP in Firefight is killing the bosses at the right time and taking out mooks. Its easier, at least IMO. And you can do it solo.
Firefight hands down. I’m at 150 and it took only a year. I average 10000xp per game
