Ok, so a very “nooby” question here, but what is the best game type to ran up on? I’m rank 48, and I really want to access the Specializations. Since I have around 80,000 XP to go and none of those double XP codes on my person, I was wondering as to how to go about this.
On victory I earn around 3000XP, on defeat, it’s 2000-2200XP.
Spartan Ops gives you 5,000 every match. It’s basically the new firefight of Reach.
Get 10 kills, go idle, soak in the 5,000 xp and repeat process.
I don’t condone idling but people have been doing it a lot lately. On Double XP you can get 11,500 xp I think it is… I wish I would of known that before I wasted a lot of my 200 xp matches in regular matchmaking. I’d be a 130 by now.

just play whatever playlist you like the most. get the same xp for them all
Just like Hey Fitzy said, Spartan Ops is the way to go if you want to rank up fast. I earn a little less than 6000 points each game, which usually ends in about 10 minutes.
Also Spartan Ops also has the easiest commendations to complete, adding even more points.
Spartan Ops Find A Match nets you 5950 XP for making it last at least 8 minutes. It needs to be in “Find A Match” otherwise you will only earn half the XP. You will earn less if you complete the game in less than 8 minutes, also.
You can increase this by about 1100 XP if you choose the Pioneer’s Fast Track specialization for your first specialization and unlock it at level 60.
