Discover hope you can see that the pelican is miles away in space from the broken ring.
And then after the pelican has some form of electrical surge charging chiefs armor up assumedly it’s a guardian that turns up to investigate?
So when jumping out of the pelican, as it’s the opening cut scene is it possible the very first level of infinite is onboard a guardian and bringing it down?
Thoughts?
Naw. He just falls to his death. The main character is the pilot
Or the blue glow is a tractor beam from a Banished ship (it has that swirly effect that reminds me of covie grav-lifts and force-fields seen in past games) and Chief is jumping guns first into the belly of the beast.

that’s a good point!! possibly, I hope it’s more a guardian if they’re gonna resolve the whole created story arch. But then again it’s probably the best way to introduce the banished as a prominent threat that early on

From what it looks like, the banished being the ones doing it make more sense IMO. Especially from the most recent teaser. This, however does not mean the created aren’t going to play a role here. I feel like it would take a similar turn as Halo CE with the flood and how they took center stage after their introduction. Something like that at least.
