After failing to find matches in the MCC again (what a surprise), I went to Halo 5 to get my daily dose of Halo. But it wasn’t much better.
I’ve disconnected from nearly every single match I’ve played today. The only exceptions are 2 or 3 Arena matches and a Warzone Assault match. I haven’t even gotten red screen telling me that I’ve been disconnected; it just kicks me right out of the match. Now I’m scared of searching again for fear of getting disconnected and getting an unfair ban.
Is your internet good? Also if you randomly DC, make a clip so you can dispute the unfair ban if need be!
My internet’s fine, otherwise I would probably run into problems posting on the forums. I have had a lot of disconnections in the last month already, and I’ve heard how often it happens to others, so I’m convinced it’s just Halo 5.
They are getting worse for me. I swear I shoot people 7 times and they don’t die. Today an enemy killed two of us while we were both shooting at him. Nothing fancy he just gunned us down. For me lag and hit registration have been getting steadily worse since around Christmas. I seemed fine from launch until then.
I have never had a problem with me DC but I have had problems with reqs.
i have a few problems every now and then but its fine 80% of the time, which is less than ideal.
They have been especially bad today, I’ve had a few really laggy matches and every single match had at least 1 lag spike. My friend got DCd twice. Also the banhanner seems to not be working properly, I’ve left quite a few horrible matches today , and not a single ban? I normally get banned the match after I disconnect.
It depends what state you’re in. People in Texas are getting great pings playing on their local servers. Here in MI we get routed to the other side of the US where we have high pings. 343 doesn’t think it’s an issue because your ranking and matchmaking will eventually pair people playing with a handicap against lower level players. Logic is severely flawed in a competitive game like Halo 5.
