Ok, Im a bit confused. What is considered a leak? I understand not posting scans of magazines, but when a magazine is out there in someones hands isn’t the content fair game to discuss? How do I know when I am allowed to discuss it? It just seems weird stifling information like that when it really isn’t a leak, even if the magazine hit earlier than what was expected.
When 343i announces something themselves, it is fair game to post. Otherwise, just wait until the English version of the magazine comes out.
Plus the fact that APPARENTLY 343 has lifted the NDA on news press, thus they can speak freely about anything they’ve seen.

Ok, but even so, when last nights embargo ended 343 didn’t post stuff on the sight right away, so, I dunno. Its just a tad confusing. I understand not linking to scans, images, or saying where to find them, but still. Also, in the past magazine information was allowed to be discussed before 343 acknowledged it… Is it a street date thing? If so, did the magazine hit before its street date? Im just trying to figure this out for future reference if something similar happens.
Even so, will we know clearly when its fair game?

Look, the scans were from a French Xbox magazine and Halo and the French have had a rocky relationship for a bit now with French mags releasing information and French stores releasing games days in advance.
I’d just wait until the English version of the magazine comes out before posting, that is just how I see things.
Well, just because the French have a history of releasing games before street dates, etc I don’t see how it should invalidate legitimate information obtained legitimately from an official source. If the magazine were stolen from a warehouse, etc I would get it… but I mean, once its in a subscribers hand the they should have to pretend like it doesn’t exist. I guess it leaves me a little flabbergasted on how information should be handled in future.
Well I would just wait for the English version of the mag or source to be released. Or you could just ask a mod or admin on Twitter or through a PM.
