Yesterday i got a message from a random player on Xbox live, that had added me from Halo Waypoint in order to do some of the 200K Achievements on ODST.
Since i needed some of the Achievements as well, I gladly dropped everything and joined their party in order to help them out.
During the first Firefight match, the 3 of us ended up losing all of our lives, and during the 2nd firefight match, one of the players began complaining about every little thing i did, where i was positioned, what weapons i had picked up, tactics i was using, i even think he complained about my service logo. Needless to say, i didnt die nearly as much as his partner did.
They ended up quitting to play another game, and i was left to ponder -
Whatever happened to people being grateful when someone else tries to help them, especially when its not that easy to find people to get these achievements. A few months ago some guys let me join them to get the Alpha Site and Endure achievements, and they were cool the entire game, all the way to the end, and i was certainly grateful.
Has anyone else ran into this issue as well?
Question is what is your logo? lol
I was trying to help people with the Speed reader achievement and when this guy quit in the middle of the match when we were half way done and he said something about how he can’t kill ne thing…

Sadly this isn’t the only case where I’ve seen people being un-grateful. Most recent case I can think of. Last year when the New Xbox 360 Dashboard was to debut, Microsoft delayed it due to serious issue(s). People were like: “ugh okay fine just hurry the ‘F’ up!”
Then once it was released people were mad about two things, even though Microsoft Warned it Would happen. Not everyone got it at the Same Time, and when it did come out people were having problems such as logging in and staying logged in.
Microsoft warned us about the issues being Highly Possible, but did people listen and be understanding??? Nope, they complained like whiny little brats.
I made a post about why the issues may have happened and instead of getting thanks several people actually Private Messaged me, several hate messages…
So yes, many people are Ungrateful…Completely…

awesome, i’ll be sure to add you
Some people in this world are very ungrateful. Ignore them, find people who will help you and you help them. I would help you in ODST, but I don’t have possession of the game anymore.

I can help GT:Newyankalt sounds like this guy was having a nerd rage.
I hate it when people ask for help and then criticize how you help them. Yeah, he should have been grateful you helped him…oh well
Btw, the 200K achievements are all doable solo, except for Lost Platoon.
oh yeah sure i will be glad to help you with speed reader! I can get on tonight if you like or maybe tomorrow if that works better for you…

@Everyone: I may not be a real great player, but I’d love to play ODST with others to help with acheivments or whatever.

@Angel Death: I know what you mean. Louis CK says it best in this video link.
Everything’s Amazing, and nobody’s happy.
