My favourite level I would probably say halo from halo 3. I just like how its basically non-stop hordes, run and gun kind of level. As well the warthog run at the very end to finish the trilogy gave me goosebumps the first time I played it, still kinda does. As for hardest level I would say by far the Library for Halo CE. That level can be borderline bull -Yoink- at points especially on legendary.

Assault on the Control Room in CE for favorite and Halo 2’s Gravemind as the hardest.
The Covenant mission from Halo 3. It was simply epic.
Hardest mission on legendary: Midnight from Halo 4
In case Halo 4 is not counted: Cortana from Halo 3. I would say the Library from Halo CE, however I did procceded though the level in a very calm and patient pace. In other words, only after they stopped spawning is when I advanced, except of course, when they’re infinitely spawning. And yes, there are some parts when the Flood stops spawning. At least, that’s what happened in my playthough.
