Hey Waypoint Community. (This is my first topic).
So PAX Prime is only 25 days away. I’m not sure if 343i is going to PAX Prime, but if they are, and if we get a campaign trailer, what do you want to see in it?
I read some thoughts on threads about PAX Prime or on the latest news lull, and some of the community say that they’re set to go, and their thirst for news has been quenched. Well I mostly play Halo for the campaign and Halo lore, so I’m dying with the lull of campaign news. Usually whenever there is news, it’s surrounding War Games or Spartan Ops. And I get Spartan Ops is a continuation of the campaign, but I really care about the CAMPAIGN for itself.
Anyway, I guess I’m hoping for a campaign trailer at PAX Prime if 343 takes a pit stop there. Last year I think they revealed the concept art trailer, and BS angel said in the last bulletin, once August hits they enter the bug fixing stage and it is now a week into August. PAX Prime is right when the game goes gold, and by then the campaign will be ready to be shown from start to finish. I think it’ll be the perfect time to reveal more of what’s in store for Chief & Cortana on the dark Forerunner planet.
So yeah, if they show a campaign trailer, what do you want to see? I really want a full story campaign trailer (not a Vidoc or a BTS video or another “Cinematic Trailer” if that’s what you would call it). I really want a full on campaign trailer, revealing more of the campaign BUT still not the ancient enemy. I think 343i should let that be a surprise for the gamer.

On topic, a teaser of the new enemies, weapons, or vehicles would be nice. Halo is one of the few games nowadays that draws in a crowd for its campaign, so whatever they show needs to be good
I’d personally like to see a mission with the Spartan IV’s, if there are any in campaign. I’d like to know if they can die, or if it’s like Noble Team, which I personally thought got a bit annoying with them never able to die and all… I’m hoping they’ll be hard to kill, but not impossible. A little bit of showing something about Requiem as well, and possibly a hint at Forerunner’s being a live. A hint though.
I just hope i get to see a campaign trailer i also want more info on the ancient evil since 343 said the Promethean s aren’t it i want to see my Precursors.
I’ve seen enough campaign. I want as much of it to be a surprise as possible. The E3 demo was plenty for me. Now what I do want to see, however, is a little more Spartan Ops. We didn’t get much gameplay from Comic-con and RTX, and the footage we did get wasn’t of the best quality, so I’d love to be able to see a little more Spartan Ops!
We have enough campaign. I want to be blown away and surprised when I load up my campaign disc. I’ve seen enough. If they release more, I will be too tempted to spoil myself. Campaign is what I’m looking forward to in Halo 4.
Multiplayer, to me, looks broken. 343 has added an absurd amount of unnecessary features to the multiplayer experience. Sure, it will probably be fun and awesome but I’m still very confused as to why default Slayer is not going 1-50.
I understand that some of you want the campaign surprised for you as much as possible, and I agree. But I still think that we need a trailer to bring the final and huge hype for the campaign.
343i aren’t going to give up an inch of ground. We will only know a few things, to hype us up and we experience the story the way it should be told - raw, dynamic and surprising.
What’s worse is that there will be people who will most likely find a way of spoiling the game so sometimes trailers are irrelevant lol
However…I would like to see new environments, more classes to the Prometheans and hints about things to come, tbh they don’t need campaign trailers…multiplayer would be much better.

Well we already know that there are Spartan-IVs in campaign. It’s been confirmed by 343 Industries, and we also saw them in the E3 trailer.
The reason I get Halo Games is because the Campaign is freakin amazing! I love the Halo Universe and the story, so Campaign has always been the most important. It just happens that Halo also has the best multiplayer, so that is a huge plus. As for a campaign trailer for Halo 4, I want them to make us want it so bad, yet at the same time leave us begging for the game to come out so we can actually see what happens. I don’t want to many spoilers, just hints.
