What? You don't like my cooking?

“I won’t.”

  • Master Chief to Cortana, just before jumping out of Cairo with the covenant bomb.

“This hurts, chief.”

“Sir, Finishing this Fight”

“Marine did I give you permission to -Yoink-?”

“Time was your ally human, but now it has abandoned you. The Forerunners…have returned. This tomb, is now yours.”

I don’t think it’s a line from a game, it may actually be a stage name but, “thought I’d try shooting my way out, switch things up a little.”

RvB doesn’t count

“Men, we led those dumb bugs out to the middle of nowhere to keep ‘em from gettin’ their filthy claws on Earth. But, we stumbled onto somethin’ they’re so hot for, that they’re scramblin’ over each other to get it. Well, I don’t care if it’s God’s own anti-son-of-a–Yoink- machine, or a giant hula hoop, we’re not gonna let 'em have it! What we will let 'em have is a belly full of lead, and a pool of their own blood to drown in! Am I right, Marines?” GREATEST QUOTE/SPEECH EVER!

uh…um… probably any thing johnsen has ever said. or when you turn on iwhbyd skull in h5 and battle warden, he says if cortana asks he had nothing to do with this when he kills you. also i shot him and he said “not cool man” in that deep evil voice, it caught me off guard and i just started laughing

> “Dear humanity, we Regret being alien -Yoinks!-, we Regret coming to Earth, and we most definitely Regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy -Yoink- fleet!.”

this was my most favorite cutscene and 343 made it better with the cinematics, oh the scarab!

“There are those who say this day would never come, what are they to say now”
-Prophet of Truth
Gives me the chills every time.

“Sir, permission to leave the station.”
“For what purpose, Master Chief?”
“To give the covenant back their bomb.”
“…permission granted.”

Yeah, I love the little pause before Lord Hood says “permission granted.” It’s like he’s thinking “damn he’s hardcore!”

> > This is Spartan 117! Can anyone read me? Over.

“Know this, relentless enemy, killer of our children, Lord of Admirals. Soon we will face the enemy you have faced, and we are afraid.”

SGT. Johnson:
Crazy Fool, Why do you always jump? One of these days your going to land on something as stubborn as you are and I don’t do bits and pieces.

And the line he tells Cortana when she thanks him for the tank. “Ohh I know what the ladies like.”

Were it so easy

Despite the annoying sequences in halo3, I liked a lot of the gravemind speeches;
“we exist together now, two corpses in one grave”
