Come June 4th, I can hope that those words come true. I don’t agree with tactical packages being in Halo, but I’m not going to judge anything until I see it in action. But after seeing that in addition to the Armor skins, we have way more options then I believe we’ve had in any Halo game. An option to have a unique skin or just just plain primary and secondary just adds another way to build our Spartan the way we want to. I think of it as the Armory 2.0. People say the Armory was dumb but then what was Halo 3’s Armory. Halo Reach’s Armory just gave us access to more armor permutations. But now we have weapon skins to add even more of that unique touch to the game.
I think of the loadouts as just advanced loadouts on Halo Reach. If you think about it, COD has custom classes. I don’t really think 343 is going towards the custom classes. I haven’t seen the screenshot yet but I think of the new loadout screens like this…
Default AA Primary Weapon
Secondary AA Secondary Weapon
Grenades
Just picture that in Reach’s loadout screen.
Many of you will think that Halo 4 will turn out like Reach, but theres something you are looking right past. Look what Treyarch did for Black Ops 2. They completely changed the formula for COD and sent it into the future. Now come back to Halo 4 and look at what it is. It has mechanics from both Reach and Halo 3. But how many things exactly does Halo 4 take from Reach? It only takes the AA’s from Reach and about 3 or 4 of the abilities. Now look back at Halo 3, Look at how the Spartans move and jump and then look at Halo 3 and tell me that isn’t Halo 3’s mechanics.
Many of you complained in the past that Halo 4 shouldn’t have been on Reach’s engine. Look back at Halo 3’s graphics and compare that to Reach’s. Now look at Halo 4’s engine and its graphics and compare it to Reach’s and Halo 3’s. Looks 100x better graphically then both games. Provides a view of realism compared to Halo 3 and Reach right?
Last thing, many of you got in an uproar about no legendary edition, and I swear, I’ve never seen a better deal. Look at Future Soldier and what Ubisoft did, free upgrade to Signature Edition for the SAME PRICE and pre-order bonus’s. Now look at the limited edition.
Firstly, the armor and weapon skins to add that more unique touch to your Spartan. DLC codes first hand for not 1, not 2, but 3 map packs FOR FREE!! Halo’s map packs are usually 800 MS points. That’s eh I’d say 10 bucks for each map pack so altogether thats a 30$ deal FREE!! The Forward Unto Dawn Live Action film, the full version runs for about 20$ and you’re getting that…included with the Limited Edition. We may also get the soundtrack who knows and thats also about a good 15$, plus the extra specializations so in total, That’s the best damn deal since the Reach legendary edition I’d say.
And this is the main thing I see thats wrong with the community, the thing that’s always been wrong. People look past everything at what they want to see. But some people like myself step back and look at the full picture. People don’t look at what 343 is showing them fully.
