Alot of people agree the DMR in this game is horribly overpowered , while many others say it’s fine. Of course there was gonna be a divide , it’s natural . People have there own opinions and that’s what makes us all different. What I cant stand though is when people say well The BR in Halo 2 & 3 were overpowered too . While Yes It may have been alot better then the other guns in Halo 2 & 3 you forget one thing…
Either we all spawned with them or they were on the map . Loadouts werent in Halo 2 & 3 so when normal slayer was picked we all had smg’s/assault rifle and Had the Br’s on the map . So we had to find them rather then spawn with them .
Also when BR slayer was picked EVERYONE had a BR so it was all good. You spawned with what many agree was the best gun in the game and everyone was on equal footing.
With The arrival of loadouts , we all spawn with any gun we want . This is very different . Instead of everyone spawning with the br like in slayer br we spawn with different guns ranging from the assault rifle to dmr. With the DMR being the way it is now , people that don’t use it are at a disadvantage. It is widely considered overpowered and the best gun .

Well seeing that it is brought up on these forums on a daily basis and wasn’t nerfed. They are not going to do it in fact I bet the BR dosent even make it into Halo 5. Heck I bet it only the DMR makes it to H5 as every other weapon is useless now. O well I guess I’m done with H4 now.

Me Too , after hearing what the TU is gonna do I’m not even gonna bother downloading it as I dont wanna go back on the game
Custom Loadouts can work. As long as every loadout weapon is balanced and provides a counter for using it. The DMR doesn’t do this unless you’re in CQB.

DMR’s range, aim-assist, and bullet magnetism make it OP when compared to the BR. Sandtrap wouldn’t have been as much fun for me if I was getting shot from every angle on the map.

the dmr was horrible in Reach just like Halo 4 but it was at the other end of the scale. It had to much bloom , far far to much . Halo 4’s DMR which has next to no bloom (thank god) has far to much bullet magnetism and too quick a kill time

As for Reach. I will play it, and from the walkthrough I seen. I already know Ill like it.

Walkthrough is not the same as playing, you probably never experience how stupidly overpowered armour lock was and how powerful grenades were in Reach etc.
As for Halo 4 I see it like a diamond covered in crap ,it has potential to be the best Halo , best graphics , engine , mobility etc . But the lack of balancing and stupid gimmicks ruin it.

Oh but thats were you are wrong. This diamond sparkles better than clear coat on a buffered lacur finish. However, if you are not satisfied with your particular diamond. Gamestop will buy it back from ya. As for the *crap^ Thats on you.
The dmr puts a hamper on map movement. BTB would flow so much better without a dmr and even LR (cuz that would be the next thing to wagon on). If you needed long range kills in older games, you picked up a sniper.
My friend had the nerve to say that the Br is cheap, while we were playing in our full party in BTB Halo 4. You can believe everyone was like what? I was disgusted to hear him say that. All he uses is the dmr anyways.

Your opinion it’s wrong. By the look of it not many people agree with you. This Halo’s population is falling faster then Halo 2 , 3 and Reach . So have finding a game while you can .
You obviously never played Halo 2 and 3 online so I find it hard to relate to you. If your first Halo is this then you loved it good for you, But you wouldnt have if you played Halo 2 and 3 as 343 dont care about the people that made the franchise into what is is today
