How much would you guys pay for the Battle Passes?
I would pay 15 - 20 USD/EUR max - but I’m always thinking that stuff is more or less only cosmetic and I don’t need everything asap. Maybe I buy the passes when there is a sale.

Like stated above, it REALLY depends on the content. If there’s a bunch of filler challenge swaps and XP boosts, I probably wouldn’t even buy it. If it’s decent quality content for 85% of the tiers, probably like $10. I think $10 is the real sweet spot number for them. Anymore and people start to get turned off by the price tag.
$10-$15 would be the “no problem” price for me. I do hope I343 updates their progression however for Infinite’s battle pass. Just doing challenges for progression instead of just playing the game doesn’t seem very player friendly. Maybe they can implement a system where you’ll get more XP for doing challenges, but can still progress thought the battle pass for just playing multiplayer matches.
9.99-14.99 seems to be the industry standard for these things.

$10 is like the cost of a map pack, seems a little much to me. but also I don’t play any games with battle passes and have no idea what the going rate is.
USD $15.00 is the absolute highest I would go. As others have said USD $10.00 is the sweet spot.
Also, an additional thought: Since the Battle Passes never expire, maybe a while down the road, as the game gets more and more seasons, 343i could put the previous Battle Passes on discount? I could see like, once we reach Season 10, the first 5 battle passes go on sale for 25%/50% off.
Seasons 1, 2, and 3 ought to be completely free until we get Forge and coop.
Are they retroactive btw? E.g. I level the free track to level 50 and then decide to buy the pass, will I get the “premium” unlocks till level 50 or do I have to do through the grind again?

Depending on how much armor/weapon coatings, gear, etc. are in the pass. If whatever is in there is good, then I will buy the pass considering the value of what Im getting. Im prolly going to buy every season anyways since they never go away. Gives me something to do, I take my time or spend alot of time on the season; take a break and then come back to a later season and repeat. The BP gives me a reason to keep playing when it doesnt go away. I can progress at my own pace compared to other games where you are on a soft timer for every season.

You aren’t going to get the BattlePass for free if you’re playing in GamePass. You might get the first one for free. And you might get additional discounts but you won’t get it for free.
I’m old and still don’t know exactly what battle passes are and how they work though I think I have a vague idea. Are they basically paid subscriptions to exclusive content like cosmetics that are still gated behind gameplay challenges and experience? Kinda weird that anyone would be on board for that? So you have to pay money AND put in the time and work to earn them?
Unless they’re insanely affordable I couldn’t see myself jumping on them.
If it’s any higher than $10, I’m not touching it unless there’s some kind $15 for 3 bundle.
I hope for $10 but I can see $15 per pass. They are every 3 months so every year would be $60. I remember seeing a pre-order bundle somewhere that netted you a $15 xbox card, along with other items, and that made me a little nervous that it’ll be $15.
Keep in mind that 343 made Halo 5 req packs purchasable at a price much higher than their actual worth so I wouldnt put anything past them.
I would personally say that about $10 U.S. would be a good price for something that you would conceivably buy every 3 months or so, although I can imagine them charging as much as $15. I am more willing to buy Infinite’s battle pass compared to other games because I know it won’t expire on me. Most other games will battle passes like COD, Fortnite, or Apex I feel like I’m not just looking at what is in the battle pass that I might like, but also whether or not I want to commit to grinding the game for the next 2-3 months so that I can get my money’s worth to unlock everything in the pass. At least with this I don’t have to worry about that although I think anything over $10 would be a little steep. Maybe split the difference down the middle and charge $12.50

It depends on what it includes really.
If it’s just cosmetics, then maybe $10 ish. if it comes with some kind of episodic story content, then I wouldn’t mind paying $15-20 depending on the size.
