What would you like to see in the upcoming update?

Hey guys! With the teaser for the latest update out now, I was just wondering what you would want to see in the latest content update?
This includes reqs, armor, maps, modes, playlists, forge blocks etc.

I am curious to know what you think.

RALLY MONGOOSE (and gungoose)! LET’S GO! These would be super fun!

Invasion gametype with forge-made Reach classics. Traditional firefight too. I would be very happy.

That would be really fun. Rally gungoose whith wheelman would be op. I can’t wait for the update to bring some new REQs. I m starting to get too many prophets banes.

SPLITSCREEN!

A lot of bug fixes, Firefight changes, server improvements and a vastly improved matchmaking system.

In terms of content, I’d like to see some Wasp variants as well as new game types (Race, Rocket Race, Rocket Hog Race, KoH, Juggernaut, etc).

Oh, and I want to drive the Grunt Goblin. Please.

Maybe, the return of The Fall of Reach pack? Who am I kidding.

  • A nerf to the wasp… 3 Req points for something that has the same level of strength as a gungoose plus shields and a machine gun? And on top of all this, it can fly?

Lol no thanks.

  • Some re-balancing with warzone bosses (Get rid of those swarmlords in normal warzone, they don’t have enough health to warrant them being marked as a mythic boss. Also, reduce the health on the legendary grunt goblins, and bring back more Legendary vehicle bosses, like Captain Hestro.)

  • Better spawn logic (Stop spawning me right next to a boss when I want to spawn in/near a base.)

  • Some of the scripts in forge need to be fixed (I’m looking at you, timer script.)

  • The spare ammo count for some of the weapons in forge also needs to be fixed. (Why can’t I change the amount of ammo a Barbed lance Light rfifle has without having to use a weapon pad?)

  • Some buffs to the knight blade attachment would be nice (Making it more practical against vehicle bosses. Preferably more damage.)

  • A buff to the normal phaeton. (Reduce it to level 7 Reqs.) As of right now a banshee ultra is better in every way, minus anti-tank/ground vehicle killing power, which shouldn’t be a reason why it’s currently at level 8 Reqs.
    Helios phaeton is fine as is though.

  • Overtime in WZA for base captures whilst contested. (Really shouldn’t come down to a guy hiding in the base to win as defenders.)

  • Quicker base capture times in normal warzone when a core is vulnerable, as well as contesting not slowing down/stopping progress of a capture unless the defender count is greater than the offensive player count. (Putting an emphasize on defense, and lowering the rate of farming.)

  • Max vehicle limit in WZ and WZA - this limit wouldn’t include scouthogs/mongeese. (We have one in firefight, but not in normal warzone or warzone assault… why? )

  • Quicker capture time for the temple in attack on sanctum when it’s under the control of a team. (The spawns are TOO CLOSE to the base, even when it’s being contested/captured.)

  • Core victories need to offer a lot more XP in normal WZ.

  • Parties disabled in infected (To stop boosting. Parties in FFA game modes shouldn’t even exist.)

  • Removal of hellfire and malignant on infected (Too many exploits on both of the maps, and the prophets bane shouldn’t even exist on hellfire. With the map creators appearing to not give a dam when it comes to fixing the map’s problems, I think it’s safe to say that they should be taken out of rotation.)

  • Removal of Tankworld in Actionsack. (Too slow, and wasn’t made for 4v4. We already have mantis breakout, anyways.)

  • Removal of Minotaurs in actionsack (Intentional gamethrowing, boosting, and the gamemode overall just relies on the use of a party to win. Party boosting shouldn’t be a major factor in winning a game.)

  • Remove ally waypoints in infected for survivors, and remove the ability to spectate other players whilst on the survivor team. (This would be to stop last man point boosting - Getting last man for 25 points, and then intentionally letting someone kill you for 25 points, and “Revenge killing” - killing someone or intentionally revealing their location just because you died and happened to see their waypoint.)

  • Allow the use of WZ/WZA/WZFF Maps in forge, if possible.

  • Add AI to forge (doubt it will happen, but it would still be nice)

  • Party matchmaking (Solo with solo, and parties with other parties. If reach can do it, why can’t halo 5?)

  • Buff to the high five rocket launcher - Better tracking. (Right now, this thing is just a hyrda that shoots 5 shots at once. Sounds good on paper, but in reality it isn’t that good.)

  • Buff to the arrow of time Sniper rifle - faster weapon swap speed (This sniper has next to nothing positive to offer on the table. Why not fix that?)

  • Scattershot Buff - Reduce Scattershot and Loathsome thing to level 3 reqs. Reduce Didact’s signant to level 4 reqs. (Scattershots are just weaker shotguns that happen to have ricochet rounds. Not sure why ricochet warrants in the extra req level.)

  • Talon of the lost needler- Faster fire rate or enemy tracking, and 1 extra clip in the magazine. (For crying out loud, the razor’s edge has a slower fire rate, and manages to do the job a lot better. It can even explode on armor and vehicles just like the talon can. Talon of the lost needs a buff to make it more practical and appealing to use.)

That’s all I would like to see on my list. I doubt any of these changes will happen, but who knows?

Raise one more ~ Level 152 to 153 - xþ 900000000 " Nine Hundred Million " For the very few that reached 152 already and want another Challenge.

Seeing as the new teaser (NEXT HALO 5 UPDATE TEASER (HALO REACH GRENADE LAUNCHER) - YouTube) and Gamecheat13 (Multiple, example: Halo 5 REQ Leaks - ONI Wasp, Grenade Launcher Variants, and Scopes - YouTube) have pretty solidly confirmed the return of the Reach ‘Pro Pipe’ Grenade Launcher and the Anti-Air Wraith, as well as Hannibal and ONI variants of the Wasp, then I won’t ask for any of those things (all were actually really high on my wishlist, thank you 343i).

Here are a few of the Reqs I’d like to see:

-Plasma Launcher (Reach)
-Sentinel Major Beam (Halo 2)(I know the Sentinel Beam is coming in the next update, but, I always liked the blue variant, and Bungie gave 343i a Warzone variant on a gold platter in this one)
-More Covenant Vehicles for BTB and Warzone, Specifically the Revenant and Spectre(I’m Aussie, deal with the spelling).

Mapwise:

-Another urban styled Warzone map. Noctus has the worst colour-scheme (vivid red and vivid green go well together, but pale red and green are disgusting, especially with white), and its sight-lines are to long, if a team can hold the Monument effectively then the kills they can get from that vantage point outweigh the points the other team gathers from holding the two garages, plus kills. In short, Noctus is not my favourite map. I’d like to see one on Mars maybe, seeing as we went to Earth in Halo 2 and Halo 3. I also think that having red sand in the streets would just be a nice touch.
-A Winter Contingency (Reach, Second Level) styled Arena map. The misty temperate atmosphere was really cool, and the wind turbines were a nice touch that made it feel more realistic to me.

Game-play Stuff:

-A nerf to the health of the Grunt Boss that spawns on the beach in round 5 on Raid on Apex 7, or at least move it to Blue Beach. Of all the games I have played against this boss, I’ve won maybe one or two. Tanks always bottle neck at the top of the beach, near the Armory, and no one can get a hit on the boss. The Hunters that come after it are a cinch if you have a tank, so at least switch the spawns so the Grunt is last.
-The return of Assault for the Team Arena playlist (Please)

  • Brown color gradient for Spartan customization - Phaetons more common in Gold REQ packs - One Flag CTF and Oddball

I’d love to finally get bayonet assassinations.

The only reason I have not bought Halo 5 is because there is no split Screen. I have played Halo 1, 2, 3, 4 and Reach and they all had split screen for Campaign and multiplayer and now Halo 5 doesn’t have split screen for either one. So I hope that they add split screen to Halo 5 in the next update.

Realistically? A weapon rarity slider for super fiesta.
