What would you like to see in halo infinite ?

hey let me know what you would like to see in halo infinite and what are your expectations for this new game.

Percursors

I would like to see the Brutes make a return.

The Battle Rifle, and DMR, to beat, or atleast, tie with the pistol, as a all around go to start weapons. Brutes to return, the flood to be all flood like, “I’ll kill you fool, lemme turn you dog, jk I just wanna hug wink wink”, that whole bit…

On the flip side ↓
All the Prometheans get the Jul’Mdama treatment, except they don’t even get a cutscene… That’s as constructive as I can make that opinion.

usually I’d type some long wish list of specific mechanics or game modes I’d like to see but I think we’re reacing a point where we should offer more general insights for what we would like.

I think we need a banished appearance. it doesn’t neccesarily have to tie in directly to hw2 either. say if 343 were to make a general that’s leading the banished that didn’t follow to the ark in order to maintain control over different locations and resources were to become a new villain so we can keep the whole 2 separate enemy factions like all the other campaigns have had, except this time we’d be completely done with the covenant and now we’re fighting the banished and the created.

a solid explanation for cortana’s sudden change of character is also not only desired, it’s mandatory. if that’s left unexplained or if we’re just told she decided to fix the galaxy and this is the best way she could think of then this time period is going to remain in infamy forever. the 3 best case scenarios I can think of are
A: like the fan theories that’ve been going around are suggesting, she’s under the control of the gravemind. I certainly wouldn’t mind the flood making a return either.
B: the easy explanation, she’s under the influence of a forerunner construct, tieing it to extended lore possibly by using an existing construct (could be a cheap way to please the medicant bias fanatics). or
C: the theory I’m personally believing until confirmation, this isn’t the actual cortana, instead it’s one of the rampant fragments that split off from her at the end of halo 4.

I also like that 343 seems to be taking a more classic approach to the design but I hope that doesn’t mean they’re not gonna try anything new as innovation and risk has what halo has been about since day 1, and while I’m sure some mixture of old halo games would be fun, it’d ultimately be nothing more than a cash grab preying on nostalgia.

most importantly, don’t retcon or completely write off a major factor from the previous games at the beginning just because you were written into a corner or the fans didn’t like it. I guarantee you, 343, if anyone up there sees this, nothing will tick everyone off more than throwing out a story element as a last ditch effort to try and make the game seem like old halo again. follow through and finish the story. fan service can be a great thing but banking the entire story on it will ruin the game. I’m willing to bet something along those lines are what happened with halo 5 seeing as how the story was not like it was advertised and why the story seemed so rushed and bland despite everything else having a ton of obvious care to it. all the care and effort put into the game is wasted if you have a story that’s all over the place. basically, don’t randomly revive characters and don’t just kill off guys you’ve been building up in the first mission just because you didn’t know what to do with them coughJulcough.

The only thing wrong with the Jul treatment, is we had to see it in a cutscene. It could have been done just as easy with one of the team saying “This is easier than killing Jul Mdama”, while running through the battlefield at the opening cutscene.

all I would like to see is just a fun space adventure to draw in new fans like CE, like what the first star wars film did.
