What would you like to see in Halo 5's Campaign?

In terms of game play. I would love if we could pilot a scarab in the campaign. (Been wanting to ever since Halo 2) I would also like to see some sort of mini boss fights to add a bit more challenge in the campaign. Things like fighting Tartarus at the end of Halo 2 or fighting the scarabs in Halo 3

I want to see a War Sphynx, (although I’m pretty sure that the robotic bird in the E3 trailer isn’t one) or a Seeker, either as a massively OP vehicle or a boss fight.
Aside from that, I’d love a flashback level from the perspective of the Didact, possibly if the Geas theory turns out to be true. Imagine all the kickassery. Imagine it.

I’m just really interested how Chief will cope without Cortana.

I don’t think the one in the trailer a War Sphynx. It’s far too big and doesn’t match the description from the books. I think they were also obsolete. I doubt John’s geas included the memories/essence of the Ur-Didact. He is only contained, not dead and the Iso-Didact is probably still alive. Also, the Librarian despised the Ur-Didact towards the end of the Forerunner-Flood war. I doubt it would be the Ur-Didact personality we know from the game and it’s pointless for it to be the Iso-Didact personality.

From what I gathered the Ur-Didacts body is gone but his mind remains. And while the IsoDidact lived through the firing of the Halos he then left the Galaxy with the rest of the Forerunners. He hopes that one day the Forerunne decendents and Humans will meet. So it does not sound like we will be meeting him.

343 Guilty Spark/Chakas seems to belive he has found the location of the Librarian. Considering she was still talking to the ‘ghosts’ while the rings were being fired, it’s more likely he thinks Chant-To-Green is the Librarian, she is the new lifeshaper after all. I would imagine that the surviving Forerunners are with Chan-To-Green, including the Iso-Didact. It would be very interesting to meet them

With regards to the robot bird/War Sphynx, yeah, it doesn’t match the description. Plus, it looks more like an installation than a vehicle.

With regards to the Geas thing, though, I would be inclined to disagree, though. What about the voice in John’s head during Shutdown?

I would like to see a lot of sandbox and dynamics elements in all levels, more prometheans enemy and more unique prometheans weapons and massive vehicular battles. Halo 4’s campaign was good, but it is the least replayable due to a lack of variety( in all levels there was always two or three shield generators/power cores/ whatever to destroy in order to go on) and few sandbox levels, so 343 needs to learn from this mistakes

Some boss fights like in Halo 2 would be cool.

The voice in his head was the Ur-Didact communicating with him. Based on how he talked to John, it wasn’t an imprint of him, but rather a form of telepathy.

Alien fauna would be very cool if they implemented it in Guardians.

• Forerunners returned (New Prometheans too)
• Ur- Didact and Iso- Didact
• Brutes in Storm Covenant
• Boss fight
• Arbiter and his Elites fighing with Storm Covenant
• War Sphynx
• Battle Forerunners at The Ark’s desert would be epic
• Ancient, misterious and epic scenarios!
• Pilot Phantom and Forerunner Vehicles !

Open areas to explore
Better mission diversity
Towns, cityscapes and settlements
Space combat or at least space vehicles to be used

The return of the Precursors and/or Flood from the Forerunner-Flood war. Many of the Flood was still in slipspace when the rings were fired and were not affected. While Precursor structures were destroyed by the rings, the Flood also brought some with them through slipspace, so there should still be some left. Considering all the different species the Flood fed on back then, we could see some interesting new forms.

Correct, and in Halo Escalation the Spirit of Fire is infected of Flood

•Mysterious music on a mysterious world

•first person spartan strength fast QCQ fight that makes you think every hit would kill a normal soldier

•plot twist - more story(in game , I don’t want to read more comics to know what should have bin the continuation of spartan ops)

•master chief using more body language instead of his voice

•Grave mind , brutes , and drones make a return (in game)

•Jeff steitzers voice untouched (stop auto tuning it)

•Also so that one eerie loud noise it makes in halo ce when something bad happens

•ONE last thing … Fist of rukt as a legendary weapon on one of the maps
