There is are a lot of complaints posted, but we don’t talk much about the future of he franchise yet. Halo 4 probably won’t change much over the next years, so…
What changes would you like to see in Halo 5?
• New weapons?
• New multiplayer game structure? (H4 using Call of Duty)
• New gameplay mechanics or a new gameplay formula? Is it getting old to always destroy the shield to then perform a headshot? Did it become too linear and repetitive?
• Brand new gametypes?
• A return of ranks per Gametype (see Halo 2)
• Better integrated coop experience in singleplayer?
• More RPG elements to the campaign?
• Return of the pistol?
• Etc.
How could Halo 5 better resonate with your needs?
I want the Red vs Blue Freelancers to show up, I want Micheal J Caboose.
I want to see .Linda ,Fred and Kelly .And the next chapter of the Great Master chief petty officer John 117 .

That’s what Halo is about.
Instead of trying to change it, buy a different game. There are hundreds of generic and similar FPS’s on the market, Halo doesn’t need to be yet another modern warfare clone.
Halo 5 can keep all these annoying and pointless changes so long as it has the original gameplay shipped with it as well (aka a classic playlist).
Oh man, I always wanted to be able to use knives as effectively as Fred in a Halo game instead of the default melee.

I’m sorry but that really doesn’t define Halo for me. That linear gameplay just limits the potential of the game.
Mass Effect already took that formula and made it richer.
You don’t make a good game by just copying every other game on the market. You innovate.
Halo 4 has done nothing to innovate except copy crappy and casual mechanics from other games (or create its own crappy and casual mechanics).
Shields are something that defines Halo. How could you go about removing them and still call it a Halo game?

I never talked about removing energy shields. I talked about improving the gameplay by making it less linear, predictable and repetitive.

How would one make energy shields less predictable?
If your answer has anything to do with random chances, you are already drifting towards imbalance.
I would actually want enemies to stand out more in singleplayer. They blend to well with the map and for that they lose some presence and lack that feeling of coolness. It makes them less memorable and important. It makes them feel like the average furniture in the background.
A new melee weapon and de-scoping(flinch is umtarded).
-Non-linear campaign missions that involve some component of exploration (ex. The Silent Cartographer.)
-More varied AI behavior.
-The same level of writing as Halo 4’s campaign.
-A more…developed spartan ops.
-AI’s in multiplayer (ex. big team battle with marines)
-More varied forerunner weapons.
-A different scheme for ordnance that what Halo 4 had (just not a fan of it here, but I’ve liked what other games have done with the concept. See Section 8.)
-Working Forklifts

Yes, yes, never played section 8 but sure.
Let the game’s vehicles play like Halo 2 and 3’s. They can take alot of damage and not blow up because of a few DMR shots. They don’t flip easily, and the turrets don’t spray like crazy, they shoot straight across the map. It’s kind of hard to get killing sprees on a warthog in Halo Reach and 4 compared to Halo 3. In 3 you couldn’t get picked off a turret easily. Also, let the in-game character models look like Halo 3’s. The lighting in 4 is strange, your in the shade and you still look like your under some kind of light. Plus no visor reflection, you don’t see anything in another person’s visors. Bring back Elites in multplayer and give them the armor from Halo 3, not Reach or 4. In fact, bring back some armor from Halo 3, and make new ones as well, but don’t give us a load of crap. Give us a few options, but let them be good ones. And for goodness sake fix the DANG BOLTSHOT!! It’s one-shot-kill range is WAY TOO FAR. These are pretty much all of my ideas.
I would love bungie to fully guide 343 with halo 5

I agree, I drove in Warthog today, did a jump and a bullet of DMR made me flip (wtf).
