What would you like to see from future Fracture Cores?

The Fractures armor cores are also made up of armor pieces that have been seen in previous games, but have been modified somewhat to fit the design niche.
The Yokai helmet is a modified Locus helmet.
Half of the helmets for Eaglestrike are based off of standard MJOLNIR classics but have been given a design overhaul to fit the dieselpunk look.

I’m just saying that if Fractures Belos gets put into Halo Infinite, then the Achilles, Legionnaire, and Argonaut stuff should go there.

with Fractures Coalition, should get a Halo Infinite game or separate game version bring the M rating back to halo. Blood and gore, decapitation, the works.

When Assassinations are returned to us perhaps?

Maybe a completely separate game crossover called: Gears of Halo

. . . . . . . . . . . . no?

Gears of War had Halo cross-over into it by having Kat and Emlie playable in GoW5.
It would only make sense to have a COG/UIR inspired armor core for Halo Infinite.

I really don’t wanna see any more non-canon armors, the whole fractures thing is super lame to me.

If they want to add more cores, add a core that lets you play as an elite, or add a Mark IV MOD core or something (MOD because it would have shields.) Or Mark VI? There are so many things that they could add to this game without adding stuff that just does NOT fit in… especially stuff like Helioskrill.

Meaning no offense, just stating my personal view.

Thats reasonable, I would definitely want an Elite Armor core, as well as MK IV and VI. If anything, id want a MK VI Gen 2 and Gen 3. Even though 5 had alot of not so good looking armor, there are some that do look pretty good, sadly some like warmaster and Anubis are just helmets in Infinite.

Would love for some of the armor from Osiris Team, such as HUNTER or COPPERHEAD to return in full glory. Call me a heretic all you want, I for one was never a fan of Chief’s space diaper and actually liked some of 343’s artstyles for the armor and undersuit.

Mark IV is coming eventually.
But fractures mainly exist for the optimal method of satisfying both crowds of “Halo Lore Enthusiasts” and “OMG wouldn’t it be sooooo cool to have a Samurai Spartan?”

Basically it allows the team to make actual MJOLNIR Armor designs for the main canon, but for those that want to have something outside the standard design norms, the Fractures armor comes into play.
After all, the Shinobi armor set from Halo 5 does not make sense in the lore, as why would you design a military suit to resemble imperial japanese samurai armor? Same goes for Halo Online’s Bushido and Ninja armor sets.

Thanks to fractures, these armor designs CAN be used without upsetting we lore enthusiasts by saying it is just an alternate timeline that still has Humanity and Covenant fighting each-other, but with different worldbuilding to justify the reason why we have Samurai instead of Spartans or Dieselpunk instead of advanced machinery.

I kind of want to see armor suits for humans designed with a sangheili styles to them.

Same here.

An alternate universe where Humanity was absorbed into the Covenant.
Years later, a Halo ring was discovered and the monitor revealed itself to the Humans, revealing the lies of the Hierarchs and causing a rift within the Covenant as those within the discovery fleet now knew the truth of their religion!

The Humans, now referred to as the Reclaimers by their followers who were still devout in the religion, lead a schism in which they defy The Covenant; with the leaders seeking to take over the galaxy as their Forerunners had done before!

As a result, we get a cool armor core of sleek covenant design, “Acolyte” as it is called since Humanity took on a higher role in the religion once it was made apparent that we were gifted with the ability to work with Forerunner technology

Oh i see so not achillies then a fracture varient with a similar aesthetic?
Cause the locus is canon regardless of the yokai sharing visual traits with it.
The similarities dont effect canonicity of either.

But ya a belos core would feature designs of that nsture i suppose.

Achilles and Mecha-Godzilla.

If cat ears can make it into the game, the “doesn’t fit the game” argument is not applicable to Infinite.

It just muddies the waters if they were to ever have a lore-based PVE or PVP mode like Invasion again, but hopefully if they do that they’ll provide the option to play with only canon armors visible.

So you want longer wait-time than everyone else because someone is dressed as a Samurai or a Dieselpunk armor set?

What do you mean, longer wait-time?

Players that have a selected Armor Core as a Fracture Core would be excluded from your search parameters. So if they are solo or with a lobby of friends, that eliminates those groups from your search parameters and thus you would have a longer wait time as the game tries to fill you with a lobby full of only main-continuity armors.

There will be no more cores. Eagle strike should be the final independent core.
They should now focus on cross core items.

Future events should just focus on armor sets, not a new core.

Once cross core is done- the core system will be redundant.

Leave it at the current 5 I say. Gives us 5 custom Spartan suits each for when cross core is complete.

I like this take on Fractures. My main criticism is how limited they are customisation-wise but maybe that is the point, they are a nice way to be creative with themed armors.

Maybe we can have a core with more feminine Spartan proportions. Like this Yui: Spec Ops concept:

We dont care about this because we dont olay with expensive gears. Everybody ask for desync and matchmaking fixes. Who cares crosscore if the game is corrupt when you dont play with an over expensive pc ?

Ah yes… Meowster Chief.

Correction. . . “You” don’t care about this.
