What would you like to see from Campaign DLC?

Today it was discovered that Microsoft trademarked Halo: The Endless, hinting at the new enemy being a major part of the next DLC. Now that we know DLC is coming, what would you like to see for DLC?

I would definitely like to see Flood in a DLC, as well as a DLC that could include the Arbiter and the Swords of Sanghelios .

Theres alot they could add on this.

As a start. I hope we can get entirely new locations on Zeta Halo such as Winter biome, desert biome, jungle biome, under water etc. With full wildlife support with seeing Rhinos and Blindwolf etc that dont attack the player unless attacked. Think what we have now is a bit too little.( not like we see birds and rats in Halo 3 and other ai animals on halo 2 and reach and 4 and 5).

Maybe even a space battle above the ring. Maybe take control of an entire battleship or something instead of a fighter.

More bosses and vehicles such as Scarab, Locust, Blitzerback, Goliath and other boss types and other vehicles

Add all the Bungie Era weapons and more weapon variants.

Arbiter DLC would be nice to have…maybe even let you play as Arbiter. Would also be great timing to add playable Elites in MP

This might be hated, but I think this is a prime opportunity to have Spartan Ops 2. I really want to know what happened to Infinity. Besides (Spoilers)

A Spartan Ops 2 idea isn’t hated. Spartan Ops was disappointing. It had potential, and we (people who were disappointed with it), hoped they would do better in a Season 2. Sadly, that never came.

I’ll say this 100 times until I get it. I want a mission where your back’s up against the wall and then you hear the weapon say there is an Unknown ship above and it’s the spirit of fire entered orbit and Red team drops down that’s what I f****** want. Also as a side note Easter egg when red team drops down and they’re reunited for the first time in a long time red team leader could be like have you gotten taller because f*** Sarah Palmer lol

Well, we are on a Halo ring, so in my opinion there is a whole ring’s worth of potential DLC. It would be cool to look up at the ring in the future and know you can go there. Really I just want to explore; I love exploring and I love the environment of Zeta Halo. Story wise I can’t even begin to think of DLC things, partly because I still have yet to finish it.

Want to see Flood, new biomes (where is the dang snow), etc. I don’t know how they’ll implement anything, as I have not finished the campaign so I don’t know if any limitations exist. But those are the first things that come to mind.

Edit: @A_Lethal_Legacy Hell yeah brother

Exactly the spirit of fire needs to come in at some point.

I think their setting up for it based on the fate of the Infinity.

More monetization and microtransactions.

What I could/would expect:

  1. Atroix DLC. You’ll play as Atriox basically, will probably be an origin story.

  2. Flood. Nuff said really. Would love to see Infinite’s take on them.

  3. Blue Team DLC/ODST DLC.

  4. Expansion to what we already have. So more areas of the ring to explore, wouldn’t necessarily have to have a deep and meaningful story attached to it, could just be end game content.

  5. DLC right after Infinite left off. Simple yet would still be awesome.

What I’d like to see:

  • Mendicant Bias: Honestly who better to tell you about the Logic Plague than the man himself. Which is super relevant for the trust issues and the Weapons fear of becoming like Cortana. Plus if he was bad then, can you imagine if he got out and tried to release the Flood? It would be a massive escalation in the story.

  • The Flood: I think they are going to trick us. The Harbingers species are going to go in thinking they’re freeing the Precursors and from a certain point of view. So we go in expecting Endless and hilarity ensues.

  • Primordial: A literal Precursor with mastery over the Logic Plague and possibly all of the above.

  • Guardian: Probably freaked out by one or all the above, the Chief realises that he might actually need the Weapon to go God mode and turn all the Guardians/Prometheans back on. I think that really makes sense because the Weapons afraid of becoming like Cortana and the Chief knows how that was his biggest failure. Plus all the trust. Yet that might be the only way out if things escalate to that level. Now I haven’t seen anything suggesting the Domains been destroyed so…if Chief wants to risk it and trusts this new AI.

  • Atriox Round 2: I think it would be good if the Chief had actually planned to get Cortana back and Atriox stopped that. So he robbed the Chief of closure, possibly even a happy ending and essentially is why Cortanas dead. Atriox could also really be gloating about this and how she died for nothing since he survived, was weak etc etc. However, when the Chief gets his helmet knocked off on the fight, the last thing that Brute is going to see will be the Chiefs face.

A full Campaign level per update if they are going the update route.
A full set of Campaign missions if they are going the Story DLC route.

Just not Spartan Ops format with the Spartan Ops style of shallowness.
Everything about Spartan Ops and Hunt for Jul Madamaamdamdamda felt shallow, just like his shallow death in a cutscene in Halo 5.

More than likely they are doing the way Destiny does it, which is Story DLC route

I can imagine that the master chief is about to die in a confrontation with atriox, when suddenly the red team arrives saying “let’s break that monkey -Yoink!-’s -Yoink!-.”

Would love to see Red Team make an epic return, would be amazing
