The original Halo Wars Limited/ Legendary Edition came in a steelbook case with Halo Wars: Genesis comic book that was a prequel leading up to the start of the game, 6 Leader Cards, SoF patch and in -game special units for each side.
So what would you like to see in the Legendary Edition, if they make one (who are we kidding they will be)?
Me personally I would like:
Steelbook - A assembling kit for Halo: Fleet Battle for a Phoenix- class ship with a battle card to use for the game or just to display with my Halo collection. - Depending if it takes place closer to any of the other Halo games, a comic bridging the gap (which I don’t think it does, I’m thinking it takes place closer to the end of the game itself) - CV of Red Team at the time of Halo Wars
Steelbook makes sense, not sure about battle card since the cards don’t seem to be useful to me.
Maybe something like in MCC would be better like the map book that showed the maps general layouts.
Comic book would be interesting too, love to see pre-order dlc like in Halo Wars like the flaming warthog.

I’m talking like it will be similar to the Guardians figurine you’ll get for Halo 5. You would get a Phoenix Class figurine that you put together and keep it as a model and to display, but if you have Halo: Fleet Battle it will also have a battle card so you can play it with that game.

You forgot that Halo Wars limited also came with the second half of the mythic map pack. Hopefully Halo Wars 2 limited could come with the third part of the mythic map pack.

I wouldn’t say forgot more that I excluded it because it had no relation to Halo Wars.
I’m not a fan of cross promotional content for other games (unless it’s a Beta). Yeah it’s cool to get an armor permutation for Halo 5 but I’ll rather get content for that game (Halo Wars) not other games, and something then just a skin maybe like a new vehicle that similar in stats to another vehicle so it keeps things fair and on the same level playing field but top differiate between people that bought the Limited Edition
I would love to actually use SoF like in the game like each level or round be able to do like a low atmosphere orbital bombardment but then it would be unfair for all those that don’t get the limited edition to get blasted by something that they can never use

I’m the opposite, I don’t like seeing exclusive in-game content from limited editions. Otherwise other players cannot access the same content without buying a more expensive version. I like physical stuff. Cool to admire.

I love how you say your opinion is the opposite of UNCLESAM4420’s… and so are your avatars!
I would like more in-game skins (since units could make the game unfair), but no DLC for other Halo game since it would feel like it is making you have both to enjoy it completely.
And when it comes to physical stuff… steelcase is a must, and some model(s) of ship(s) would be so incredibly awesome, more so if there were actual space combat in HW2. Would be a nice way to highlight the feature.
i’d like to see a halo fleet battle set, steel book case, a booklet with the multiplayer maps, dlc skins, patches (like in the first one), or a statue of red team fighting that brunt from the trailer
