I’d like to be able to swap natural object pieces with their different biome counterparts, so I could essentially take my map I made that was Marshland, and turn it into a desert version without creating a new map or deleting current pieces. Also fun way to make a map have a holiday theme or something by also being able to make it appear as a snow map or something.
Kinda wish we would keep the current biome pieces but have a supplementary editing tool similar to the FarCry games, including the terrain paint tool. Making foliage dense would be easy and changing a map from desert to grassland would be a breeze.
Having a water level adjusting tool would be lovely too. I could see the complexities though especially when making a waterfall or something of that nature.
Yo darwi, check out this guy on YT name Red Nomster, just made a board game map with a slow spinning ceiling fan. This is what you guys needed for Zanzibar/last resort, and whoever made Ascension. Hit this guy Red Nomster up on how to script that. He knows what’s up.
Mmm you would think so but unfortunately I haven’t seen anything for 1-4 yet. As for 5 I’ve seen it in Halo 5 but haven’t seen anyone use it yet or make a script for it.
I hope 343 can fix the emissive/materials and FX glitching. I don’t want to start subtracting things from my maps, but as I am playing on them, I’m finding that 50% of the time they are almost not playable.
The way I see it, I am just putting my ideas & imagination out there in maps. Playable or not, 343 should make sure this is fixed by the time forge is not in beta mode anymore.
I would find it useful if we could change the colors of the vegetation. Like grass, flowers, or tree leaves. Idk, I guess it’s fine how it is. I just have been working on a long grass and fog field in my map.
My Nav Mesh won’t generate on my map. My dynamic budget is maxed and barely has any room to add anything. Is it possible that Nav Mesh needs part of the dynamic budget to finish? Anybody had this problem. I tried moving the spawns and in the end it kicked me out of forge multiple times with a “dedicated server issue”. Still published it, just without working bots.
