Imagine the next gen will come out this year in winter or at least next year in the 1st quarter.
Now H5 might not be finished (and you might know: good thinks need time - humans say).
Also we dunno about other Halo-Games that might be in dev.
And what about the new kinect? Wouldn’t a Halo Wars 2 fit in here?

Halo Wars Two shouldn’t be a Console Game IMO if it does indeed come out
While i did Love Halo wars, i thought that the “S” in “RTS” was severely lacking
on a console, it’s hard to make an RTS that balances both Playability AND strategy
which is why most RTSs are on PC’s
Give me Halo 5. I don’t want to have an ODST 2 as Halo 5’s replacement.
No Halo. The series is 12 this year. We already have 7 games (8 counting CEA), I’m getting fatigued by Halo. Yes, there were 5 years between 3 and 4, but all the in between games wore me out. Stick to the main series with at least 3 years between each one. Support each game for those three years with consistent updates and DLC (not everything released in less than half a year).
For a launch title, I want a new IP, like the four that are rumored to being developed for the next console.
Edit: I’m not saying I don’t want any side-stories, just not right now. Finish the Chief’s story once and for all, and then they can do all the side stories they want. Just don’t overdo it in a short amount of time.

First off all, I want them to work on Halo 5 and support Halo 4 at the same time, they can’t be making a Halo game at the same time as those two, otherwise one of them would be lacking in quality in my opinion.
And as Lycan XIII has said above me, I want them to concentrate at Chiefs story at the moment, not other side storys (at least for now).
Halo 2 Anniversary.
Looking at the industry as a whole, Microsoft has the weakest first party games. They only really have Fable, Halo, Forza, Gears of War, and Viva Pinata. They need a new first party character and one that is more…Family friendly.
I mean look at nintendo; Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and a host of other older 1st parties that can come back at any time like Kid Icarus.
Sony has more too! Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Infamous, Uncharted, God of war, parapa the rapper, fat princess.
Microsoft needs some new first parties.
