what would it take to get 152

so ive been going for rank 152 in halo 5 and im almost there im about 15 million xp away so what would it take to just get it over with getting 1 million xp a day? and ive so how long would that take im always playing mythic firefight and i earn 165,000 xp a day already

Mythic FF is about the best way to gain xp consistently so the only thing I could recommend is play for longer amounts of time everyday if that’s possible for you. 1 million xp a day is incredibly unrealistic.

I hope Infinite won’t be such a grind. I have not played Halo 5, but from what I hear it is unreal how much time you need to sink into it. Is there still an active player base at least?

165k a day is more than enough to get you done by November 1st (which is a real early-release scenario).

Earning a million in a day would take roughly 10 hours with Legendary Boosts and a good fireteam, I think.

Mythic Warone Firefight with legendary xp boosts and good reqs

The grind is incredibly long for people that didn’t actively and continuously play the game but over the lifespan of the game wasn’t overly ridiculous in my opinion. (there are bigger problems such as the difference in xp for playing arena or warzone which is totally unjustified) for example ive gotten to SR 144 in about 4 months which is only like 10% of total but if you take the over the 5.5ish year life span means it was achievable. As for your question of population that depends on gametype and timezone. For those being realistic in their grind they would only be playing MWZFF which has pretty much always got a full population.

i don’t really understand what your question is. If your question is what it takes to earn 1m xp a day. Take what you do now (165k) and how long that takes you (say 2 hours) and divide 1mill by your sum and multiply by your hours and that’s how long you’d need to play a day for 1mill xp. if you earned 165k in 2 hours to earn 1mill would take you approximately 12hours of play time (which ultimately is extremely unrealistic to achieve in a single day)

Yea especially for two consecutive weeks, that would be very unhealthy I would imagine.

i know someone who plays 8-12 hours a day, but then again he does stream and i don’t think the person asking could match that time. I don’t think it would negatively impact health in the long term if you were to do it but maybe your sanity short term lol

Mythic Firefight with a damn good team and Legendary XP Boost. That or the starred games.

Maybe if they made their income through the hobby via streaming, otherwise I cant imagine how one would balance that into their lives on a regular basis.

As somebody who hit SR 152 13 days ago I can tell you that it takes a lot of time if you play the wrong modes… Even if you play the right modes it can still be super hard if you don’t know what you’re doing/how to do it with the most efficiency.

Point is, 152 is a monster in it’s own right, but if you’re 151 now you are definitely within reaching distance if you have the time between now and when November hits just before Infinite comes out (which is 92 days from now to November first) to play at a rate with 165K xp a day, it would mean you’d earn 15,180,000 XP in that time, taking you just past that final bit of XP needed. Yes, it’s not the definition of the most fun thing ever, but it’s not what I’d call the definition of the least fun thing ever either.

I can’t emphasize this anymore…XP boost, XP boosts, XP boosts.

I do not recommend this, because the amount of xp you gain by playing 8 to 13 minute games of Mythic FF has a 20 to 40% higher xp gain yield compared to those games with 15 to 18 minutes of play.

Before answering everything you mention, I would like to suggest that you meditate and reflect on what I want to ask you. Are you really willing to invest hundreds of hours of gameplay in Halo 5 for a Couting in Infinite?
You need to think very well about that dude, because I have known many players who have invested many hours of gameplay, but after a while they quit without being able to reach SR152. It is not worth it to spend many hours of gameplay on something that you know that in the end you will end up quitting.

At the beginning I played with friends and talked to them through Xbox Party, then almost all of them quit and uninstalled Halo 5, as they felt overwhelmed, bored and frustrated by the long way to SR152. Then I kept playing alone, but talking to some friend about many topics, or listening to music or podcasts, and so on to not give up and achieve my goal.
That’s why you need to reflect very well, because to get 1 million xp per day you need to spend between 12 to 14 hours a day playing. This is not good for your health and I really don’t recommend it. Instead, you could set a daily goal of 165k for 90 days, as explained by Globex Silenced in another recent comment in this post.

To have a better xp gain efficiency for less time I recommend the following:

  • Play with a team, that makes every game of Mythic FF easier.

-Prioritize finishing the game in the shortest time possible, that means you should prioritize finishing each round as fast as possible. Some people will tell you that speedrunning each game brings you as a disadvantage the level of reqs, reaching certain rounds without being able to use good reqs. But I assure you that when you reach the last rounds playing actively, you will easily have level 6 of reqs, enough to use a Scorpion or a Wraith Ultra or Temple, enough to finish any final round of each Mythic FF.

-You should also pay a lot of attention to the first few rounds where you can ruin the whole game if you kill too fast (for example, kill 100 grunts in Temple), as I told you, it is important speedrunning every round, but in certain rounds you need to play chill, soft, because if all your team kills the enemies too fast, they don’t reappear anymore and you lose the game. This happens in the first rounds to kill a certain amount of enemies or protect a base, so consider this aspect without forgetting that in the following rounds it will be of high priority to speedrun as much as you can.

-Save and collect enough reqpoints to buy too many legendary xp packs, you should always be aware of the reqs store for when they come out, as the legendary boosts give you a very large benefit of xp. If you have enough money you can buy them (when they are available), but for me it was enough to spend the reqpoints, even, after getting SR152, I had 3 million reqpoints left over even if I had hundreds of reqs stored (in every game I always spent my reqs).

-Whenever you can, learn from each round and memorize it, so you will know which is the best way to level up reqs and kill bosses.

I hope it helps you, but I do ask you to meditate and think very well if you are willing to spend several hours of your life for a Couting.

grade 152 of halo 5 is way too long to do.
