If, like me, you’re disappointed by the direction of Infinite, and now feel as if you’ve lost interest in the game, what would it take for your interest to be regained? More gameplay? The ability to play the Gameplay Demo for yourself? The Multiplayer beta?
I’m interested, as I’m feeling a little…lost, on Infinite. It’s not what I wanted Infinite to be like, but I still love Halo, and don’t want to immediately give up on the game. So, I wanted to hear from like-minded fans, see their views, and try to have a little positivity and constructive feedback.
For me, it’d be a graphical improvement and more showcase of the world itself. The idea of a open world Halo is something I personally always wanted to see. This gameplay just showed as any other Halo before with close quarters combat and basically something I already did before in other Halos, besides of the grappling hook of course.
And the graphics really looks far from what a new system console with a brand new engine could do.
Multiplayer completely customizable in settings with classic multiplayer sized maps.
No sprint in multiplayer except as an option to turn on and off for custom games.
Good armors.
Lots of sandbox elements to play with.
Equipment looks like it is back in and that’s good otherwise it would have been one of my points.
Basically I give up on 343 as a team for campaign. They can not do good stories. They cannot make good campaigns.
Multiplayer can be salvaged and if it’s fun enough to succeed Halo 3 I will gladly pay 60$ for that alone.

> No sprint
> Grunts Design
> Weapons
> Multiplayer beta, I think that would give me the last decision
The first isn’t going to happen, unfortunately, although, I too wanted Infinite to be absent of Sprint (hoping Doom would give encouragement to 343).
What’s your problem with the Grunts? Still a bit to 343 or…?
Agree with the weapons. I feel the same about them as I do with the Halo 5 Rocket Launcher. At least the UNSC guns. The Banished…They’re okay, I guess? The new Spiker seems a little…big on the HUD.
I do feel like I have to play the game to get a better sense, and see how the Multiplayer will be. Hopefully, this’ll be sooner rather than later.
A free electric unicorn (not fotus) armour set on fire (purple fire) for all the people that got SR 152 on Halo 5, with the not so long time up to the xbox series x launch I doubt they will change mechanics/models from the demo.

Just curious did 343 make any incentives for people with sr152 in halo infinite? They haven’t done so previously so I’d be surprised

they said there would be something for those that reached SR 152, but as the time passed, more and more people (insiders and self-made fanboys, i mean halo youtubers) stated that it might be only an emblem, i no longer have big expectations since the demo anyway

I believe it’s something small though…Equivalent to a Name Plate from MCC, or an Emblem from Halo 5. Armour would be cool, and would be pretty unique (about 2000 players would have it).
My issue is with the graphics. The art style looks great. The elites look amazing while the grunts look more true to the classics than the last two installments. The graphics seems cartoonish, and not “next gen”. The gameplay looks solid from what was shown.

No cartoony/Mega Blocks style graphics. A gruffier sounding Warthog. And higher quality weapon sounds/designs.
Thats it, those two new UNSC weapons look so -Yoinking!- generic and un-halo it’s laughable but I wouldn’t care about any of that if the gameplay looked like Halo, and it sure does not.
As for the graphical issues…A lot probably stems from the lighting. I don’t doubt that the models have detail and texture, because we’ve seen that 343 do so. The new skins for Halo CE look great, but particularly the ones that add a Covenant skin to UNSC weapons. But if the lighting is poor, then everything looks flat. The lighting in Halo 5 is poorer than in its beta, and correspondingly, looks flatter.
So, visually, the lighting needs to be better than it is in the Gameplay Demo shown on stream. Maybe not ray-tracing levels, as at 4k, 60fps, that would be taxing on even a Series X, nevermind a base Xbox One.

The full rollback of all call of duty features. No hit market. Faster base speed in favor of sprint (see half life and counter strike). Scoping like Halo:CE through Reach.
