I wasn’t able to post a comment and a pop-up stated I have to wait a specific amount of time.
The last time this showed up I took a while to write a comment due to editing what I wanted to say which took a couple minutes. 20 minutes later and signing in again I edited the same comment slightly without any issue and I have done this many times before but this time I was told I cannot submit a new comment on another thread right after my edit of the previous post.
I think that there is a thread on this but I have no idea where to look.
It’s an anti-spam filter, to stop people from posting too fast, like if a spam bot were to try and post something in multiple sections in quick succession.
Editing a post technically counts as making a new post, so that’s why you were running into the error.
It isn’t exactly reliable though
