You know, I always hear this at some point or another; “Change is fine, as long as it’s good change” (Or some variation of), yet not ONE of you that has stated this has posted what your idea of ‘good change’ is.
So I want to hear what ‘good change’ is to people who use that arguement.

And ‘Halo 2 with new/modified weapons’ (Like Halo 3 was) isn’t real change. If that’s the kind of change you want, then there’s no point in even making a new game beyond the campaign.
I guess seeing new gametypes and different innovations in map design/control would be welcome even though we always get that they should still add it
there is,selling copies and playing the game
and with good changes we think of things like spartan ops,it has to be renamed but it sounds really great,or if they haad evolved the eqiupment system from halo 3
Spartan Ops is a good idea, but the name is terrible. Call it “Operations”.
Elites should be made available in all game types like they were in Halos 2 & 3. Not everyone played as an elite, but there was a large elite fan-base that shouldn’t get rejected.
All of these new ideas they have made are OK if they are only in a few play-lists and custom games.
Spartan Points should be changed to Credits. Spartan Points implies no elites and it is just a horrible name.
Making sprint a default ability was a good idea. Either everyone should have sprint, or no one should have sprint.
For certain game modes, having a choice between a BR, DMR, and AR is a good idea. And so is being able to choose an armor ability. But choosing a grenade type will cause problems. Everyone should just get frags. Nothing else. I also think it is better if your only choices of secondary weapons are Magnums and SMGs. People will still have to look for all weapons besides BRs, DMRs, and ARs. Usually you spawned with these weapons anyways.
I think with this gamemode, we can have a difference between Spartans and elites. Spartans can choose from any of the weapons listed above, while Elites get the covenant equivalents. UNSC might then need a weapon equivalent to the needler though.
And like I said, this should only be for certain game modes. Perhaps it could be called Loadout Slayer?
Random weapon spawns is just stupid. Was it ever a huge problem? No! Does it need to change? No! So why has it changed?
Again, this should be available for custom games and certain playlists.

shooting from vehicles
driving with objectives like in CE
restricted loadouts to AR,br,dmr, magnum, carbine, nr
new weapons
AAs on map
fast movement speed with no movement acceleration
a fix to 1-50 to keep the fun of ranked but remove the issues from H3
a more survival based FF
basically building one what was done before, not stealing the name of the old and tossing away all that players loved in the old game
I definetly want a new feature to replace firefight and I hope it is interesting… and I don’t mean Spartan Ops lol I want something more on the line of like Campaign battles.
I mean come on, if in Reach you could play against your friends and kill each other will sabres you would think that that is pretty cool.
Good change:
>Bring ODST Pistol to multiplayer (since apparently CE pistol is too powerful)
>Bring back dual wielding and bring back dual needlers
>Make needler weaker/slower fire rate
>Bring back classic firefight, but add an economy system. Allow for purchasing ammo, weapons, abilities (limited use) and powerups (for one time use) through an in level vendor instead of giving infinite ammo to our starting guns.
>Bring back 1-50 and resplit social and ranked
>Make 1-50 slower and better so people don’t lose their rank right after they get it
>New weapons and don’t remove all the old (they are doing this)
>Continue the amazing campaign and introduce new gameplay (sounds like they are doing this)
>Scoring and Speedrun leaderboards for campaign
>Round Survived and Scoring leaderboards for firefight
>New features (they are doing this, Spartan Ops)
>More like CE or at least Halo 2/3, not Reach (EPIC FAIL)
>More vehicles (they said they are doing this)
>Bring back Avalanche from Halo 3.
>Remove jetpack and make maps with pure halo gameplay in mind (do not include armour abilities to destroy the design of maps)
>Bring back powerups that have to be timed to pick up
>Allow more flexibility for forging (such as actually being able to change the colour of the blocks, ect.)
>Allow for more flexibility in weapon spawning (increase to 5 minute maximum, and allow things as spawn once and never come back or spawn in last three minutes of match only)
>Elites, Brutes, and Spartans available for multiplayer
Bad change:
>Most of what I read in GI
The only things I can think of is for Forge, and more options to customize gametypes.
Seriously, if 343 can let loose with a ton of customization options, not only can they be flexible with tweaking gametypes, but people can have alot of fun playing customs simply because its fun.
That’s something I’ve been asking myself a lot since I found out about the unlockable abilities and custom loadouts. Honestly, I couldn’t say. I’m not a game designer.
For me, H3 was the pinnacle of online multiplayer, and arguably all my gaming life. I had such an incredible time with it. As such, I honestly couldn’t suggest changes to make it better. It’s my favourite game of all time.

The vehicle health system is more closely interlinked with Spartan health
The forge allows more in-depth customisation
Custom games allow us to edit minutiae like bloom level, extent of bleed through, point-up-until-shield-begins-recharging, vehicle speed etc
Gametypes such as invasion are expanded upon
New vehicles and weapons that change up the sandbox yet are not overpowered are added
Movement and aim acceleration is removed
We are given the option to change settings in depth in Campaign
Spartan Armor customisation becomes even more in depth
Existing weapons are tweaked and balanced
The list goes on…
