If one wants to rapidly get to tech 2 in a reasonable way, what might an opeinign build order look like?
Gen first, followed by supply. Grab as much power on the map as you can.
This is the current way. Is it reasonable? Define “reasonable”
Ideally, you shouldn’t be able to do just this without succumbing to early attacks. We’re hoping the balance patch will make it so.
Typically if you want to tech up as fast as possible you need as much power as possible, so I’d suggest going 1 generator then 2 supply pads. Then cap nodes, upgrade the power generator ASAP, then build a second powergenerator, upgrade it, then just sit back and cap nodes and get supply and power crates and you should get T2 relatively quickly
My suggestion, try to take a power node and get 3 Generators & 2 supply pads
build all generators!

Upgrade the gen as soon as you can.
Start researching tech 2 at about 2 minutes.

If 3v3…
Gen first.
Upgrade.
Retrieve supplies rather than power stacks.
Use supplies to build a 2nd Gen.
Gather more supplies and build a supply pad.
