I hate the thing
When it’s on arena maps, I cringe.
When I use it in warzone, it’s because it’s faster to equip (let me bookmark REQs plz kk ty)
Why do you people like it so much?
The extra aim assist annoys me.
The bullets fire in a strange pattern…
I’d rather only use the magnum than the H2BR.

We now live in a world where people will cringe at the sight of video game weapons. Oh, what exciting times we live in.
But the answer is pretty obvious, its the Halo 2 freaking BR. The most popular BR because it was the first of its kind in what was probably the most popular Halo game throughout the series. It’s cool to use a classic weapon and see it in a modern age of Halo. Like the classic Magnum and Rocket Launcher. Simple as that.
Because it sounds like nostalgia.
Because the thing is so deadly in the right hands. Sorry that you’re bad with it.

Not my fault the extra aim assist is awkward, lol.
You get used to aim assist, when you’re trying to look past an enemy, it’s hard when your aim slows down more than normal.
Because 343’s weapon design sucks and when people see something as nostalgic and satisfying as a classic weapon that doesn’t have two disgusting horns for a scope, they’ll choose that.
Not obsessed with it. I prefer it over the new BR. It feels better and is more fun to use, for me.

I don’t care how a weapon looks, I care how it works…
And the H2BR is awkward…
This is why I hate the fact 343 keeps adding maps with one normal BR, and one H2 BR…

I cringe cause I know I’m going to have to use an irritating weapon when on the other side of the map is the same thing, without the irritating aim assist…

Well sorry for not understanding (and therefore asking) why people like a weapon (that I find super awkward) so much.
I hate that gun because it aims itself and kills whatever arena map it’s placed on.
I think it’s a pretty good weapon and it has a lot of nostalgia behind it. Halo 2 is the first Halo game I played, so seeing it and hearing it brings me back.
The H5 BR feels so much better… I agree.
Idk, in my opinion, it takes up less space on the screen, and I like the way the visor immediately zooms in, instead of the ADS animation the other BR has. The Classic BR is too big on the screen and I like having a lot of visibility on the screen. Those are my only preferences of the Halo 2 BR.
Because it sounds like a badyoink weapon and not some weak nail gun like the H5BR sounds.
