Considering it will be two separate installations, probably whichever hits “ready to play” first.
Social multiplayer then comp for the champ grind
Since I’ve already tried multiplayer, I’ll be going into the campaign straight away. Can’t wait to fight again!

Campaign for me. I have kept it largely spoiler free, so going into it will be quite the experience.

I thought Campaign comes out later?
Regardless, I’m definitely playing Multiplayer first:
- Because launch date server stress
- Wait for any zero day or initial teething issues of the Campaign to get sorted.
I’m assuming we need some sorta connection to play single player and I’d rather not dive directly into that on launch day, whereas if I’m in BTB and they need to post a hotfix it’s not really taking me out of the experience.
Better question is will you be sitting with the lights turned off humming the Halo theme 
I’m not sure where people get the impression from, but the Campaign won’t be online only. It’ll have offline functionality just like every other one.
Has to be the campaign, Can’t wait to see where the story will go.
this is the best way to play, sadly some of us like me are hard pressed to beat halo on normal on our first runs.

Campaign for sure! With all the mtx and whatnot, probably never multiplayer.
100% the campaign, but on Normal so I can enjoy the story.
I’ll replay on Legendary once they release co-op.
I am actually wondering how much replay value the campaign will have, since it’s open world you can presumably do any side missions in different orders on different playthroughs etc.
Co-op for the campaign is releasing later but the campaign will be playable single player from Day 1.

Campaign for sure. I always try to complete the story first before I hop into PvP just to get a feel for the aiming and movement.
The only thing keeping me from instantly playing Campaign is a desire to play it Coop first. But right now most of my friends are favoring just doing it solo over going dark for 3 months and risking spoilers.
So I think it’ll be Campaign for me.

Its gotta be starting that campaign as soon as it drops. I need to see where the story has gone!
Since I’m a PvE player, I’ll just play the campaign in Heroic. If I have time and friends who are interested, maybe I’ll play the PvP.

Well seeing as how they are lazily not adding in Co-Op mode to the Campaign on launch, I guess I’ll be playing Multiplayer first, as I’ve always played Legendary with my buddy/GF on campaign ever since H1. A pretty big slap in the face to long time Halo fans.

Campaign on Heroic after going through the weapon drills, and maybe some bot training. Just so I get a good feel for the weapons. Wished we had access to all weapons during the flights.
