What will you first do?

When I get my copy I will first read through everything in the manual and back of the game before playing. I shall then browse through the whole menu upon entry. Next I shall look at my multiplayer spartan and give me my colors ( White primary, blue secondary). Then I shall jump into campaign on Normal to enjoy the story and not have to put up much of a fight and enjoy my self. (Second play through is Legendary). Once I beat the campaign Ill hop into forge and see what I have to work with. Then I’ll call up a couple of buddies and go for some Matchmaking. To top it all off, my friends and I will have a custom game 5 vs 5 on every single map. That’s just my first day…

Campaign followed swiftly by more campaign.

OP is smart.

You basically described what I’m going to do.

Except my Spartan will be Primary Steel/Black and Secondary Blue. But I actually have been known to switch to white/blue!

I’ll probably take a break and play some War Games after a few Campaign levels.

Oh, and the custom thing. I won’t be doing that because none of my friends ever want to do customs. :frowning:

EDIT: Actually, I’ll be putting in Pre-Order/LE codes first, like Graybeard said…

First I’ll put in all my LE and pre-order download codes. Then after that I’ll probably go straight to campaign, play 2 to 4 levels then off to multiplayer.

Genius.

I’ll be going into forge and taking a look at that. Then when I have three of my friends online, I’ll start the campaign with them.

I’m saving Spartan Ops for my 3 friends, NastolgicMass20, Ghost Omel, and Seano299. They be my budz…

First, I’ll browse threw the menu, see all the new stuff. Look at the achievements. Then I’ll go strait into campaign.

This thread is full of win. I’ll be giggling like a little schoolgirl, entering codes, hopping into a co-op run through of campaign and beating it in a single sitting, playing one or two matches of War Games, sleeping for a bit, then on to more War Games/Spartan-Ops.

I’m just going to start Campaign on Normal.

Faint. Play WarGames until the weekend. Playthrough campaign. Everything else.

I’m in high school, so I won’t be able to do as much as I wish (I’m planning on asking my parents to let me have the day off so I can monitor elections, ha, how little they know). Anyway, first I will install the game so it’s awesomeness does not -yoink!- up my xbox. Next I will put in my LE codes. Then I will roll on into campaign, haven’t decided if I want to do it with friends or alone for the true solo experience. After a few levels, I will check out the ability of the theater, just to make sure it’s capable. Then I will -Yoink!- out my spartan before playing a few war games. then try forge, and finish it off by trying spartan ops. Overall, a full day!

I’ll probably go into options and change the settings to my liking. Then I may go and start the Campaign. After that, I might mess around in customs to get familiar with the maps or join a friends game.

Check out the forge, then head to Campaign. It’s what I’ve done with Reach.

> I’m just going to start Campaign on Normal.

This. I always play on normal for the sake of experiencing the campaign and its storyline. That way, I won’t run the risk of learning spoilier from people playing the multiplayer, and I suppose it is quite a tradition for me because that’s what I do with all new Halo games.

Eh, I’ll decide once I actually have the copy in my hands. It will probably go somewhere along the lines of:

-open game
-install codes
-play what looks most entertaining

Campaign then spartan ops.
