Autumn has arrived. You have Halo Infinite preloaded on Steam or Xbox. The clock strikes the hour of release, and you boot up the game for the very first time. What do you do? You could explore the campaign’s open world, or take a dive into multiplayer. Heck, you might even give Forge a go just to see how it functions compared to past titles.
I go straight to campaign—first solo, then co-op. It’s Halo tradition for me to do the story before playing multiplayer!

> Co Op Legendary Campaign with my friend. It’s our tradition. Pull an all nighter and get it done. Then grind out multiplayer the next day.
^ This! Will be carrying out the long tradition of Solo Legendary to completion. Depending on how much I get side-tracked with these side missions/skirmishes I may actually take my time and end up jumping on MP for a little bit.
Probably Heroic campaign with 2 friends to get used to the game a bit. I prefer Heroic over Legendary to start as it feels more like you’re playing and progressing, then a Legendary playthrough can be done later to feel like you’re mastering it. Then from there it’s all multiplayer all the time. Start with some standard 4v4 arena play, then check out the btb/wz (whatever larger scale iteration they’ll have). I ended up playing almost exclusively WZ in H5 but pretty much only 4v4 in MCC, so I’m up for either to be my favorite.
It depends on whether my friend is available to play right away. if so, then definitely co-op campaign right away. If not, then I’ll probably just play multplayer…unless I get impatient then maybe I might play the first campaign mission without him lol
For sure campaign, probably on Heroic. Heroic you get a feel for the struggle and the story, legendary can sometimes be distracting from the story due to the difficulty. I’d rather not be stressing over getting one shot by Jackal snipers that I don’t even know exist.
Spend a couple days on campaign first of course. We haven’t had a campaign in so many years it’s not something I just wanna “grind” and get it done with. I’ll prob scavenge for hidden Easter eggs and just enjoy the campaign. Then do the campaign on co-op with some friends and then stay on multiplayer

I go campaign with my brother on heroic. Nothing too serious, just exploring a bit. - I go in forge, check out all the mp maps and fight with my brother and dad (and beat them both), check out all the vehicles, grenades, weapons, equipments, unuseful -Yoink-… - I invite my friends to play some mp, if there is split screen (i hope and i am worried). - Just complete the campaign on heroic with my brother.

I believe split screen has already been confirmed.

Yeah, for campaign, nothing for mp, if there is local mp at all.
Definitely fire up the campaign solo on Legendary, and just get lost in the Pacific Northwest and whatever other environments I hope we get to explore.
I’ll complete campaign solo, probably on heroic then do it solo on legendary I’ve done that since Halo CE, and no co op, I’m not into co op. Then multiplayer. That’s if I buy the campaign this time, at this point it’s not a guarantee, so this might be the first Halo I play the free to play multiplayer first.
I’ll probably wait in the menu for the inevitably awesome music to cycle through, while checking out the customisation options and settings.
Then its strait into the Campaign.
