What will we Demand Next?

After the upcoming Title Update, what will we ungratefully demand next?

Will it be the removal of loadouts?

Will it be the removal of sprint?

Will it be the removal of everything?

Or will we demand something new?

Will we demand a UNSC Flying Vehicle for the thousandth time?

Will it be Firefight?

Will it be an update of custom games?

…Or will it be something realistic…

Something constructive?

Something worth listening to?

Something that can be improved?

There are many options to improve, but we need to give 343 a better reason than just flame-spamming and complete resentment towards every attempt of appeasement.

Soon, 343 will be unable to appease us, and by that point… Halo will be dust…

We need to work with 343 to achieve both of our intentions… For the fate of Halo rests in the balance…

Huh?

Good luck with that.

Simply Spartan Ops season 2.

And that’s my point…

I liked the Star Wars theme to your post!

Okay so there was obviously no constructiveness here.

Good bye Halo, your fans have failed you…

Because demanding constructive things isn’t constructive.

The game will continue to die because people refuse to fix it.

Part of it is also having to go through Microsoft’s ridiculous policies, they have to spend three weeks waiting for Microsoft to make demands on how to make 343 charge players so that Steve Ballmer can continue to stuff his pockets.

What do you want me to say? That any minor change 343i makes will make me happy?

Because it won’t. Halo 4 is a complete mess, maybe not for some, but for me it is completely unplayable. No minor fixes 343i make will make me want to play this game.
I will play it with mates on rare occasions, but the game-play is far too broken to warrant me playing again.

If they ever manage to replicate Halo 3’s Social Slayer in Halo 4, then I may return. If they ever manage to fix Customs, then I may return. If they ever manage to fix Forge, then I may return. But the likelihood of this happening is small, so what do you really want me to do?

Halo fans haven’t failed no one, 343i failed us by changing what didn’t need to be changed. Did they/you really expect no one to be angry at the changes that have been made? We try to tell them where they have gone wrong, but they don’t meet our demands, they try to put their own spin on things (White X, Deluxe settings for Throwback, etc.) While they are putting these small things right, the whole game-play needs an overhaul.

The balance of personal ordnance.

Don’t get mad OP

Regional servers.

I happen to be mad at Microsoft, NOT 343, NOT US… But Microsoft.

The only reason Halo is doing so terrible is because Microsoft has to add every little marketing technique there is to Halo. They don’t care about the game. They don’t care about the Fans! They only care about the coin!

The only about Halo that matters to them is how much money is being stuffed into their pockets. And now with the idea of Microtransactions… It could be the end…

Remember Reach… It was the beginning of Microsoft’s true control of Halo…

I laughed a bit at the part where you said “Or will we ask for something realistic?” because you provided nothing at that part. Halo 4 is doomed. But Halo 5 still has a chance if 343 can get it right.

Except that Reach was a good game. Just needed a BR and a competitive ranking system and it could’ve been perfect IMO

I don’t remember people making demands for Halo 2 or 3. Reach had some flaws (bloom and armour lock primarily) but Halo 4 is filled to the brim with so many damn problems. People were outlining and predicting these issues before the game released, 343i didn’t give us a beta and didn’t listen to us then, so NOW they’re making up for it.

This franchise is going in such a bad direction that I’m actually hoping we see Halo 2A before Halo 5, with full MP support I’d play that for years while 343i scramble about with their new formula for what they think Halo should be.

The sad thing about a Halo 2A is that it will have a remastered Halo 2 campaign… But it will run on Halo 4’s multiplayer… It would be like everybody shooting themselves in the foot…

I would die for a Halo 2 Anniversary, but it will still not be the same.

The best of anything can only exist once. The other installments will follow it’s exact orders or struggle to make something better…

Yeah, I wouldn’t want DLC for Halo 4, I’d HOPE 343i would give us our own Halo 2A servers with original H2 MP. I mean CEA’s DLC playlists weren’t very popular and now have about 2k players between the 2 playlists at peak times.

I just think Halo 2 MP would be more popular, and if properly advertised would sell better than CEA did. Realistically, you’re probably right, but I can dream!

  1. You are still responsible for your own actions when you go to work. Even if it was your boss that told you to lie, you are still a liar if you go through with it.

  2. Micro-transactions are nothing compared to the quarters I used to pump into the arcade.

  3. I wish the biggest problems with Halo 4 were Bloom and Armor Lock.
