Will it still allow you to zoom in with the battle rifle? Was it left stick? I don’t even own an xbox 360 anymore.
lol right stick is Zoom and left stick is crouch. You can buy a CronusMax adapter for Xbox One and map out the button layout for Halo 5 to pretty much anything if you want to change it and they don’t offer the button layout you would like.
If left trigger is for smart scope are we going to throw grenades with left bumper?
I actually just looked at a controller layout for the beta, and it said right stick is for crouch, ground and pound, and sliding. And left stick is for sprinting. I don’t think they should add down the sights to halo. Down the sights is for -Yoink- of duty four modern gay -Yoink- stupid.
And suddenly the control lay out for Default is beginning to sound terrible if the left trigger is aim and the right analog stick is the crouch…
Guys… I has the controls here! Only one that we know of uses LT for zoom, the rest are similar to classic controls.
Default is left trigger zoom, left stick sprint, right stick crouch. This is because this is the control scheme used by most fps games so it makes sense for it to be defualt for people who want to pick up and play without learning new controls (Smart scope is also added so they don’t feel alienated by halo’s scopes).
However all the control schemes you know will be back. Don’t worry. Greenskull did a video showing a number of schemes from the beta, but there are more he didn’t show.

Its right where its always been it just depends on which control scheme your using.
So will we be able to regular zoom or will it just be smart scope? I see in the video it says smart scope/zoom. I don’t even like any of the control schemes.

If I had my choice I would have thruster left bumper, grenade left trigger, fire right trigger, crouch right bumper, jump a, reload x, switch Y, melee B, sprint left click, scope right click.
As per what I would pick tough choice. I know I would want thruster on the shoulders, but I don’t want to fire with left trigger for southpaw, and I think with green thumb I’d get mixed up between sprint and zoom.
I think I would pick boxer over recon or bumper jumper because the grenade is the right bumper. I think that would serve me better as opposed to left bumper for the other two.

After a few games it’s honestly fine, it’s different of course but it all makes sense the more you play.

The “halo 4” control scheme is pretty close to that aswell as “fishstick”
Right stick to crouch, left trigger to zoom. Honestly it’s fine.

The smart scope is only for guns like the smg or the assault rifle, the pistol, br, dmr and sniper rifle all have proper scope sights. Its all one button and as soon as you get shot you get unzoomed.
Just because you can zoom a bit with the assault rifle doesn’t mean it does more damage or can shoot further.

This is nothing compared to those that are from 2012. It’s not rare either.
So with this Cronus Max thing… its like a USB stick. Does it come with PC software that I use to tell it what button I want to swap for a different button? Would I be able to use a 360 controller on the xbox one?
