At the end of Halo 4, we saw John having his traditional ‘‘Mark 6’’ armor taken apart by some machine. My question is: will he be given a ‘‘newer’’ version of his old armor or will he be given a newer variant of the armor, maybe ‘‘Mark 7’’?
If the trailer and the preliminary box art are any set of evidence, he’ll probably be wearing the armor that he wore in Halo 4.
I thnik it was a dumb idea to explain why Chief armor change so much in H4, because Halo NOT Crysis that little nanobot’s changed his armor, I hate that thing. Otherwise I like the new amrmor, it’s cool as the old ones. I would like to see a new armor on Chief but it’s not a problem if they keep this armor.
I hope he does get Mk. VII. The only other Spartan to don that armor is Naomi-010.

They need to stop messing around with the Chiefs looks, the current suit is fine. Yeah, ding it up a little, some visor cracks or whatever if he ends up renegade. But im afraid if they give him another suit it will look even worse.

Possibly keeps it for the beginning and trades up for something better.

“The Next 72 Hours” is the title of the upcoming Halo: Escalation comic issue. It features Chief after the events of Halo 4. Releases on July 23rd. Part 2 comes out in August.
If they follow the footsteps of the previous trilogy then MC will get some new armor. Perhaps Mk. VII. Chief has had Mk. VI since H2. I’m ready for an upgrade (not counting H4’s “visual” upgrade.)

I personally like his new armor but then again this had an iconic look to it since we spent so much time seeing it so this will start to become iconic after a few more games plus I think he looks really cool in his new armor.
Fix the shoulder pads. As far as I’m concerned that’s the only part of the current design that sucks out loud. Functional looking, but ugly.
I’m not a big fan of the Armour in Halo 4 but I would like to see a broken variant of it, which is what we are expected to see.
