If somehow you haven’t heard, a recent add-on to the Halo Infinite Marketing includes the Double XP Monster Energy Drinks, which include codes that can be activated once the game comes out.
Although, the codes on the cans say that they expire on 12/31/20, prior to the release date of the game. If these expiration dates do not get changed before the end of the year, will those cans be null towards the game?
They will expire, you drank the product life goes on
They had to have known for some time. It is a huge flop and mistake. Maybe they’ll figure out a way to extend the program or at least redemption. It says the codes expire not the in game item so maybe we can redeem until then but it will back-log for release. Either way it would not capitalize upon release.
Likely extend them. Not hard to do. Just requires some communication on behalf of both parties.

It makes no sense to have launched the promotion now. Much more so now that the game has been delayed.
Yeah this was just bound to happen though. As someone who works in logistics where I already have fall and winter holiday items in my building, it just sucks that since they pushed the game back, the coordinated marketing launch is jacked up too.
There probably should have been a little more foresight, but c’est la vie.

Well, the promotion will be delayed and the Monsters with the early promotion will be selled. Probably the current codes or whatever will be valid in the future with the Halo i launch.
They’ll have to be thrown out and that might force innocents to be exposed to healthier alternatives

That’s what I guess in my initial response either way a major accident by the teams at 343 now the whole hype and exposure from the promotion will be going to waste.

Personally, i don’t care about the promotion, because 1, i don’t like Monster and 2, where i live (Spain) those promotions and all that stuff doesn’t exist. I think what normally the Halo promotions are only in America.
But if you want that X2 xp just keep those cans until the halo i release, or at least a multiplayer beta if in that beta you keep all your level and unlocks.

I assume they might address that whole thing at some point.
Not gonna lie, I bought some last night because the game was delayed and it is a flukey promo. Never had Monster before.

I think the only reason the game got delayed was because of the backlash. I whole-heartedly expected this game to come out on time with graphical and content updates later but it seems 343i is firm on trying to deliver a fully polished product and with the amount of improvement the community and consumers are expecting is too much for 343i to do before launch especially with the state of the world at the moment. I think 343 thought they could’ve had the game done in time up until the event’s feedback. but as you said, It’s life

I like halo, i don’t care about the energy drinks promotions. I’m not on a Monster forum.

If only there were something to do with the cans other than use the code.
Do they come in different sizes as well? I found only Mega cans so far. And I wish they would at least detail if there is a cap of how many you can use per profile, if megas give more time vs regular, etc
