So what do you guys think will happen when Osiris eventually confronts Blue Team? What will the interactions between the two teams, or between Locke and Chief look like when they make contact? Will they get into a firefight???
I think Locke will intervene when Chief is doing something extremely important. He’ll try to be reasonable, but given the urgency of the situation, Chief and Blue Team will knock them aside and escape. As the events become more dire, each party will become more hostile towards each other. Locke will become extremely disappointed and angry in Chief without fully understanding his mission, much like in live-action trailer.
Towards the end of the game they’ll come to understand each other’s motives better and be forced to work together. But I can still see there being at least some degree of antipathy that won’t be resolved until the finale of the game or the start of Halo 6.

but in seriousness, i’m going to say it will be avengers age of the guardians. the heroes will squabble on which is the right path until before a mutual threat will force them to work together.
Buck will talk smack to the Chief then shots will be fired then a guardian will appear then they’ll shoot at it.
I think both parties will explain their objectives. Then after a little back and forth something happens. Possibly Warden Eternal turning on Blue team? Who knows?
The fact the tag line for everything Halo 5 related if hunt the truth, id imagine Osiris will only be hunting Blue team for like half of the game, the 2nd half finding answers. Its best to just wait and see as we know very little about Halo 5s story.

Please nobody say they will be shooting each other with multiple endings and such just because of the trailers. I have friends on MCC who drive me nuts with such assumptions.

Nothing will happen beyond they inspire and empower one another… I personally don’t think 343 has the guts to upset the status quo. if their interaction is anything less then respectful, they will have alienated Blue team supporters (the majority of #teamchief) from the idea of liking or accepting 343s new characters. (read any youtube comment of palmer meet MC). They desperately want us to love 3 members of Osiris. Buck is Immune as he’s established and has already made his stance clear on hunting the chief no one else in the team hasn’t really voiced a opinion so far.

Buck and Fred will have an arm wrestle and hug it out.
The 4 girls are gonna have coffee at Starbucks and -Yoink- about how moody the guys are.
And MC and Locke are gonna have a DMC about their feelings and how chief lost cortana and chief is gonna cry on Locke’s shoulder and that’s the ending scene

Surely hope not, this is how most stories go. Hopefully they’ll eventually be working the same objectives, just in two different ways.

Kelly single-handedly uses standard issue UNCS tooth-floss to tie up the entirety of Osiris. Linda will then snipe apples off their heads while Fred makes sure everyone’s morale is high. John will stand there, a silent badass intimidating Locke.
