What will Blood Gultch be called in Infinite?

We all know the layout of this iconic map and had many “only in Halo” moments on it. It has spawned many different names over the years:

  • Coagulation - Hemorrhage - BloodlineAnyone want to take a guess of what it will be called in Infinite?
    1, 2, 3…GO!

Hematoma.

There’s a bit of a play on words with the names of each recreation of the map. So this name seems like a fitting one.

Hemophilia could be a possible one as well.

Blood Drive? I mean, with the vehicles and the fact that they’re not afraid to use blood in the title more than once, it’s a possibility.

It may be a stretch, but I think Matanzas Ravine fits the original spirit of the map. Blood gulch meaning a valley where a lot of blood is spilled. Matanzas meaning massacre, and ravine being a synonym for gulch

Hopefully nothing because it will be all new map layouts and scenery.

“Red Canyon” - Red symbolizes blood.

“Death Bed” - A gulch is a type of water/stream bed - hence the “Bed” part, and Blood Gulch (the map) has been the site of many deadly multiplayer battles - hence the “Death” part of the name. Plus I remembered that when you combine the 2 words into one word (“deathbed”) it is an actual term that refers to a persons last living moments, so it doubles as a morbid pun.

Idk if there will be a remake. Maybe the map we saw in the multiplayer trailer was the new “big map with two bases in a canyon” map. Everyone says Valhalla was the Halo 3 version but it’s to different of a map to me.

It’s definitely out there, but I do like the ring of it.

How about… Plasma Chasm? Haha not very good compared to some of the other ideas here!

Well, if after Coagulation you get Hemorrhage, it seems like things aren’t going too well, so the natural consequence is Anemia.
