What will be the number of the final halo game?

I think that it will probably get up to 8 considering it’s microsoft’s biggest franchise so they will want to keep it alive for as long as possible until they find a replacement.

They will most likely keep it alive until they cant any longer,no matter if we have Halo8 or Halo19.

Not saying Halo should ever die but perhaps it should conclude dramatically on Halo 7.

343 are pushing towards dropping numbered titles, so the last ever Halo game that gets released might not be numbered (though you could still give it some arbitrary number I guess based on number of releases chronologically)

I kind of have a feeling that the numbered Halos will end sometime soon and then Halo titles will be along the lines of Halo: Reach and other spinoff names.

I wanna guess that the next mainline game will be called “Halo 6: Reclaimation”. Not sure about the naming for a seventh game, if it ever happens…

I hope not, I think gaming
systems are archaic. If a company uses it I prefer it to stop at three and than just call it something else

Considering bungies obsession with the number 7 and how 343 took over,I say it should end with 7

Maybe the final Halo game won’t have a number. I remember 343 saying they wanted to get away from numbered titles because they thought it would be a little ridiculous to keep piling them on 'til we have “Halo 27” or something like that.
