What will 343i do with a these threads?

I was never clear on the subject.

Will they take what is said on this thread into consideration or will they take certain ideas and put them into the next Halo.

What will they do because if you ask me I think it would be very difficult to deal with all the threads that go through this forum.

There are some really amazing ideas that enter here and also some terrible ones. I’m sure it would be hard to keep a tag on everything.

What will happen and what is the true purpose of this forum?

I believe these forums are for feedback and discussing Halo, even if they were to have ideas from the forums, they can’t include everything suggested

That is assured and thanks for the assist.

Your welcome

I really doubt that they pay much if any attention to these forums, and if they did it would be nice for them to post some threads or questions to the community every once and a while that they responded to; and I’m not just talking about the ones at the top of the forum menu.

They must pay some attention to these forums. If not they shouldn’t be surprised if all Halo Fans lose trust in their ability to make Halo games.

Of course these forums are read, given consideration, we have many examples of this:

  1. Staff post in and create threads or forums. Suggestion, open letters and feedback forums.

  2. Constant content is generated each day.

  3. Events where 343i answer directly and say they read more than respond due to volume and you know actually making the games.

  4. Changes to the game and bulletins.

  5. Live streams and community invites to the studio.

  6. Playlists like Throwndown have their community creators and test publish/help with settings and maps.

  7. Community cartographers interact with staff a fair amount.

Before Halo 4 came out, I posted my ideas for future weapons.
One of them was a weapon called the Mortar Cannon.
It was a weapon that fired one powerful explosive that would cover the surrounding area in napalm.
The initial explosion was weak, but the resulting napalm was the true killer.
You only fired once before reloading.

Now, can you think of a Halo 4 weapon that sounds very familiar?
Yep. The Incineration Cannon.
Either they took inspiration from my post, or it was just a major coincidence.

I’m trying to help 343 create some more weapons.
I post my ideas in the “Would you want strange weapons in Halo 5?” Topic.
And in the “343 wants ideas for Halo 5” Topic.

I’m certain 343 looks at the forums for ideas/suggestions. But as stated already, they won’t see everything, and they can’t implement everything.

I really think the main purpose of the forums though is to simply interact with fellow Halo fans.

I agree

They probably only look and stay in the threads that have acceptable behavior unlike many threads here -_-.

For those acceptable behaviors ones they will probably take those threads and see if they can put them into halo 5 or make something different from the thread that is similar. Even then they got to think on how the community reacts to those features if there good or not.
