What were your favorite things about halo wars?

I loved to sit back and play halo wars after raging at other games. I loved halo wars because it allowed me to cool off and not have to think much about what I was doing in the game. I personally can not wait for halo wars 2!

Heh heh yeah especially as fun when u build 4 in deathmatch

I loved just about everything about Halo Wars. I spent hours just fighting the AI in skirmish when I first got the game and got the 24 hours of quality achievement within like 3 days. I played through the campaign countless times. I got all the collectables. I got the ready for sequel achievement, even though I thought there would be no sequel. The multiplayer was rage inducing at times, but fun. And as time went by, I also loved how small the community got strangely enough. Everyone knew each other.

Same here I would spend so much time just making ODST’s I really can’t wait for it to come out.

ODSTs in the tubes, ODSTs away, ODSTs standing down, and repeat… Till enemy is dead.

Any and all could be countered. There was no unstoppable strategy.

probably the large scale annihlation against the a.i., also the automatic difficulty where the more wins you get the harder it gets. I recall getting up to 144 on automatic at one stage aswell with just spamming vultures/scarabs

I loved alot about Halo Wars and it was a great game. the graphics for the cut seens were awesome, the story was great,the gameplay was awesome and even more awesome with friends… the list goes on and on.

My ODSTs, and my reactors. There will be matches (skirmish and online multiplayer) where I would destroy an enemy base then place reactors everywhere!
