What were you guys expecting from the trailer?

I thought we were going to see more things in Infinite like the other new weapons and the new vehicles that were from the mega lock sets to Infinite. What were the things you guys wanted to see the most in the trailer beside what we got today?

I honestly wanted a huge thrill feeling. Something extraordinarily new or groundbreaking either from gameplay or the story but things weren’t presented the best way imo.

I know me too…sad

I was expecting the suicide grunt that the dude playing plowed through to blow up the warthog to be honest.

Same, it’s really disheartening.

I was expecting some Campaign Coop, Arbiter Returning and some amazing music and plenty of Action, Visuals and Gameplay!

I was expecting a game that blew me away. Instead, it just blew.

I was not expecting “Halo 5: Guardians - Infinite Expansion (Featuring classic artwork styling!)”.

Just my two cents.

I was expecting them to announce the release date for the Series X, but I guess that’s more of a Microsoft issue than Halo. Sony and MS are playing a game of chicken to see who will announce first giving the opponent the chance to under cut them.

Better graphics

Lol Sony won by default right now

Ehh, Microsoft has a lot of cool exclusives I’m looking forward too like Psychonauts 2 and Hellblade 2. I’m still interested in Infinite, but I think I really need to see more.

I agree

i need to see more to make a clear judgement. People are really getting worked up over the tiniest stuff. People need to realise that this i one gameplay trailer.

I expected to know what the game was, and what it would offer. Instead, I feel as though I’ve just looked through the keyhole, which has culminated in my great disappointment in what was seen. Without wider context, Infinite looks like Destiny-Mass Effect Andromeda. It was a bad call to make the gameplay so vague, and has undoubtedly contributed to the magnitude of fans that feel disappointed. Even the story, to an extent. Again, there’s no context.

I feel as if I know as much about this game as I do The Elder Scrolls VI, and that game has only had a trailer to confirm its development.

I was expecting something more telling. I figured that since it’s so close to launch and this is Microsofts flagship title that they would be showing off in detail what new features are in the game, how it takes advantage of Series X and exactly what kind of content the game will have. Then explaining it in a blog post over here on waypoint.

Instead we got hints of changes and pretty generic shooter gameplay. I mean it’s not awful but it is not exciting either. I want to know more, not because I am excited but because I am skeptical.

To be honest it felt that the gameplay trailer was rushed, in my opinion.
