What were the real likes and dislikes about Halo5?

Ok so overall i really liked the multiplayer (mainly warzone because lets be honest, warzone is awesome!!!), i really enjoyed the new skill set [Spartan charge, Groundpound etc.] because they added a really cool element to the game. I really enjoyed that there were two playable fireteams in the campaign and that you could really interact with and order around AI squadmates, i thought that was really cool.The campaigns storyline was really cool, but i found it abit predictable towards the end. (but that didnt matter to me because it still was pretty cool :D) … i think the two things that i would change is being able to chose maps when it comes to online multiplayer & starting with a BR instead of an AR, but it doesn’t really matter to me. Overall halo 5 is one of my fav. games, i mean Reach still is my fav. game but halo 5 is close.

Halo 5 is ten times the game Reach was… better maps, your shots actually hit and go where you intend for them to… and it respects OG gameplay with its 1:1 starts and abilities, as far as being a competitive shooter… and that’s what I need from a Halo game.

Gameplay first…

I just dislike how there is no social stat tracking that is separate from competitive stat tracking, and how the ONLY PvE mode that contributes to the REQ grind is a fully stat tracked REQ burn sweat fest without an easier option in a game that already provides a wealth of competitive modes. Oh, and no FFA oddball option last I checked.

At least Forge is excellent.

In Halo Reach my shots landed exactly where I wanted them, when I didn’t miss. Also, that gameplay bit is purely an opinion and does not make Halo 5 a better game when it cant even Reach Halo Reach’s concerent population status that it had at tghis time in Halo 5’s life time. Also, better maps? Mercy looks good but almost all the other maps either look like reskins, play bad, are just alright, or are forge maps(which i got nothing against). What I need from halo is a good story, game play is secondary and frankly hasn’t been that good since Reach imo.

What I like-
The attempt on making a competitive Halo game.
Actual ranked playlists.

What I dislike-
Spartan Abilities (Sprint, Spartan Charge, Clamber, Thrusters, and Ground Pound)
Terrible matchmaking for Ranked. Onyx teams matching against solo Platinum players. Or even Champions matching against solo Silvers and Golds.
Terrible map design.
Small radar with Spartan Abilities making it irrelevant. Can’t reaction or counter sprinters or thrusting because people can travel 18m in nearly a second or two.
Friendly AI are extremely derpy.
Features not being available at release.
DLC focus being on REQs and on Microtransactions.
Support for Arena is minimal unless it is Team Arena.
No Forge maps in Arena after months.
Lack of gamemodes (No Oddball and Kill of the Hill)
Lack of playlists for Ranked and Social. (No Social Slayer or Objective)
Lack of variants, like BR starts in Team Slayer to add some variety and 1 Flag, 1 Bomb, etc.

I still like Halo 5, but I get so frustrated at all the BS in this game.
