The day the show came out, I watched some reviews bc I was going to be on the road that day and wouldnt be watching it. At first I was upset at the reviewer(s) on YouTube because I thought they were too critical of they show. Turns out they were right. It doesnt follow they Halo story, they tried to humanize master chief, they got his facial appearance wrong, and he isnt supposed to jump like Super Mario(as seen in episode 1)

Yeah, we are lucky it’s not cannon, everything happen in the Silver timeline, the Master Chief we saw isn’t the one from the games
The wrong thing of the show is that they change too many character. Master Chief, Cortana, the Keyes, they are so different that they should have be named differently. Take Silver team, they are litteraly a replacement for blue team, the fidel spartan accompanying John, and it’s easier to do with them because they never appear in games and books, we don’t have to compare them with the orginals.
It really looks like star wars rather than Halo with how many politics they put into it. Especially with the girl working with the Covenant. The Blue team Silver team thing shows you that Microsoft doesnt care about the show
