What Weapon would you like to see in Halo 4?

As we all know Reach was lacking in a few weapons from Halo 2/3/ODST that we all loved, so I ask you, what weapon would you like to see return in Halo 4 the most?

beam rifle

Grenade launcher. It’s the only new weapon that I didn’t despise in reach.

Brute shot was always a fun weapon, not sure why they got rid of it.

Maulers were epic fun, but without dual wielding they’re unlikely and less fun. On that note, smg pistol combo was pretty epic. I honestly don’t know why anyone bashed dual wielding.

#1 for me was the Covenant Carbine. So I’m already happy.

But the Covenant sniper rifle (beam rifle) would be amazing to have back for sure.

5 shot splaser

Halo 2 Brute Plasma Rifle. It overheated faster than the normal PR but it was more powerful. This mean you had to land more shots for it to be effective. It had such little time in the limelight as it was only introduced 3/4s of the way into Halo 2 before being dropped.

SMG although I already know it wont make a return.

Perhaps they should buff it seeing as duel wield is not in H4. It’s fine to have basically brute shotguns in the game as it adds variety

Sentinel beam defiantly. I would also like to see a much larger version as well that is held like a turret or most other weapons at the shoulder, that I would find pretty awesome.

Not to the point where you have 2 weapons that are near identical that just have different skins and names.

not identical but similar. Weapons could then fit into themed maps or gametypes. But seeing as duel wield is now gone I doubt the Mauler will make it into H4 anyway.

The Halo: Combat Evolved assault rifle with it’s massive ammo and shredding sound when it fires. One feature I liked about the original AR was that it sounded powerful and aggressive. All the other main Halo’s between CE to Halo 4 had an AR that, in my opinion, sounded a bit weak and rubbish (except for Halo 2). But I prefer how the Halo 4 AR looks.

I know it’s not gonna happen but that’s the one weapon or functionality of the AR I would have wanted; an AR that doesn’t have to empty it’s full clip to kill another player (not necessarily always but for the majority).

Simply put I would love to see the brute shot make a come back. Favorite weapon from halo 2 and 3.

The Reach/CE AR was great, When I fired the Halo 3 assault rifle I felt like I was tickling Spartans with feathers.

You could make it fire quicker but have less power, like BANG BANG MELEE combo in Halo 4.
