It seems the DMR is out the door with the return of the BR, and it made me start to wonder what other weapons should we say bye bye too. For me it’s the concussion rifle, i believe it’s time for the brute shot to return. What about yourselves?

I want to say bye bye to the Reach laser. The H3 laser was soooo fun to use, then Reach ruined it. Also, carbine>needle rifle; brute shot>concussion rifle; H2 sword(lunge across maps lol)>H3 sword> Reach Sword

or you could just call them the CE Assault Rifle and unmounted halo 2 turret
Concussion rifle.
The Brute shot is so much better.
Plasma Launcher, Needle Rifle and Focus Rifle. Hated all of those.
SMG needs to stay gone, concussion rifle out, and any other redundency needs to leave as well.

Ugh, I keep telling people this. Frankie said that the BR isn’t necessarily a replacement for the DMR. We just might see it in H4.
I would really like to never see the DMR ever again… it felt like an awkward, under powered, misfit sniper rifle wannabe. Thank God the Battle Rifle is making its return.
Reach’s AR because it is so hideously ugly.
And the focus rifle because it’s useless, should be replaced with a sentinel beam.
Plasma repeater is useless too, replace it with a functioning plasma rifle with stun.

Either the focus rifle or the concussion rifle. They both suck, and the brute shot was 100x better than the concussion rifle.

oh and the DMR isnt entirely out of the picture. 343 said the BR is not a replacement DMR. possibly hinting for players to have a choice between stronger yet single fire, or weaker but burst
