Definitely the grenade launcher and the smg. There’s just something so satisfying about dueling SMGs and just tearing through someone. Especially in Halo 3. And enough said about the Pro Pipe.
Dual SMG, brute shot, and the grenade launcher. Honestly how is the concussion rifle better then the brute shot. It has a giant freaking knife on the end of it. Long live the Knifle.

Duel wielding plasma rifles was the best! But now we have that stupid blueberry launcher (storm rifle)
And the brute shot. Concussion rifle improved from reach to 4, but brute shot was way better, in halo 3, the grenades actually shot in a straight line. Not to mention the giant melee blade on the back.

damn that thing was brutal. Its good it was never really in matchmaking because then people would complain about its power.
seriously if you dont believe me load up Halo 3 and plug in another controler and test it out. It takes down people in like 1.5 seconds and can kill a vehicle driver in a single overheat.
I miss the dual wield needlers.

The Silenced SMG. The other two that I miss are the Brute Plasma Rifle from Halo 2, and the normal Plasma Rifle.

Plasma Rifle
I really miss the Plasma Rifle. Honestly, both the Repeater and the Storm Rifle are lame attempts at upgrading it. If they really wanted to have a good balanced Plasma Rifle in the game, they would make it large enough to be held like a Rifle (like in CE), and they would make the firing mechanics more based on shot-leading skills, than “hail of plasma” spam.
The weapon was awesome in Halo CE, it was totally different from the AR, yet it filled the same Niche. Halo’s weapon equivalents should be more like that.
Brute shot or grenade launcher from reach. God the Grenade launcher was amazing.
SMG or Flamethrower.
Besides the Brute Shot, nothing. Halo 4’s sandbox covers the spectrum pretty well. That’s not to say it’s balanced (it isn’t) but almost everything I care about is there.
